Very simple. Don't play for yourself. Play for the country. Win matters here, not individuals.
Our guys reason that their job is over if they win 50 or 100 runs. Take the II ODI. We were contained by so comfortable position. Ganguly had his 50 so as Tendulkar. After that?. Tendulkar meddle a stupid ball and Ganguly chased a all-embracing ball. Why?. Now everyone say Tendulkar is back to form and Ganguly is going great guns. We could hold won that match if these guys didn't step for those cheap shots. Everyone is bolstering Ganguly and Tendulkar for their performances. But I would say they be responsible for India to lose.

There can be no comparison between Pathan, Mc Grath and Shoaib, as Pathan and Shoaib are no where on earth near to mc Grath if you consider any yardstick. He is the great vigorous bowler and holds the record for most wickets among adjectives fast bowlers.
Mcgrath for sure! He is the most consistent next to is line and length and he take wickets. The way he frustrates batter by never bowling a bad globe makes him the best surrounded by the world.

Factors helping India -
The best indian team going for the World Cup after the 1983 Presidential Cup. India have found good openers within Ganguly and Uthappa, with Sehwag within there too. Yuvraj, Dravid, Dhoni and Tendulkar steady the middle direct to form one of the best middle order bat. Lower middle order of Kumble, Harbhajan, Zaheer can hit a few runs too.

Well Mr. Ranatunga, appreciation for the complements. But this team cannot net it more than Semis. There are some players (I don't like to steal their names here) who get selected because they give some nice money to the selectors & the Chairman. These players even do not fit in the Canadian squad. But Uncluckly they are in the Indian squad. 75% chances are of SouthAfrica & 25% WestIndies.
If Srilanka can amend their bowling & fielding consequently it will really make difference to this troop & can win the WC. Anyway Best of LUCK to All the Teams.
