South Africans hold always proven themselves to be the best concerning fielding, bat and somewhat bowling ! no doubt they are intensely good candidate for this world cup..but i don't know why are they soo unlucky , they always show the best throughout the tournament but lose a impressively important clash at the end and attain themselves out of the competition especialy Semis.i call them "unlucky" in connection with winning the world cup. Btw SA and NewZealand are my most penchant teams (Ofcourse after Pakistan) and i want any of them to win this worldcup if Pakistan can't!
While South Africa and Australia are strong contenders for the World Cup, they cannot purloin the trophy for granted as cricket is a game of uncertainities and upsets can crop up.

The South African side is very strong, and have a good accidental of winning the World Cup...provided they dont find another opening to choke.
They had a strong side contained by 1996, in 1999, and contained by 2003, and each time choked at some point to cost themselves a worthy shot at the title. In 1992 they were strong but that time they be robbed by the stupid rain rules we have in Australia at that time.
If they draw from to the final this time, then they hold a good shot as they own shown the ability to meeting it with Australia surrounded by ODI cricket.
