It was a long and boring event.

I didn't like it any, as the Final was the most controversial WC Final surrounded by Cricket history. Also, it seemed similar to organizers looked-for Aussies to win and make a hat-trick. I didn't close to that at all.
It be the worst worldcup ever... very unlucky for cricket... Pakistan and India be already out.. west indies and england didnt played well... South Africa and Newzeeland lost beside fight surrounded by the semis they were not supposed to lose resembling that...
and yes you are ryte that... RAINS, DEATH of WOOLMER, and lots of resignations..of great players... made all bleak in the cricket history...but surrounded by the other hand... the lone team who is glowing and very lucky be Austrailia...

To inform you the truth, as a Lion Lakan I've watched every single cricket hobby bc, 2003 I was babyish & didn't know much about or have intrest in cricket however, I be happy bc, my squad, Sri Lanka went adjectives the way to the finals.
Bad subdivision: Sri Lanka did not play a fair activity for the final bc, their was no hours of darkness lights, rain, and steriod usage from Adam Gilchrist hitting 149 against Lions.
With Sri Lanka losing its close to L.A. Dodgers losing to NewYork Yankees.
Yes, their were probability for Adam Gilchrist to get out but, if the area is wet & unpromising light, And a white cricket globe, how da heck can the lion fielders see and catch the cricket bubble.
This was my worst winter sport I ever seen In my enthusiasm span: The Final.
Other than that, I enjoyed every game from every cricket team.
All horrible. India and Pakistan are the team to watch contained by cricket... theyre liek the Yankees and Red Sox of baseball... without em, in that is no rivalry to be watching for.
This was the first world cup i watch throughly being free in this day and age and i didn't like it at adjectives...!!so many ups and downs..one sided match., rains, controversies, rapid results.and unwanted too !and the resignations of some of the great players..and most importantly the touchy one for me being a Pakistani, the woolmer's passing...I still feel soo downcast for him, infact can't forget that man and his great contributions to my country ! ...it was the worse World Cup! i agree !and i didn't resembling it !
This was the first time i watch the CWC(last time i was contained by third grade).
Overall,i was content because I was going for the Aussies,and they won, third time within a row. i didnt miss a single Aussie game.
Bob Woolmer's extermination was terrifically sad, but we adjectives have to revise that everyone will die, one day or another.
The resignations be really sad, too- India's coach, etc.
The lots retirements were also extremely sad- Brian Lara, Glenn McGrath and masses other great cricketers, many who be and will always be legends.
I cant articulate much about weather it be crappy or not since i dont have too much experience surrounded by watching cricket.
I cannot wait until the ICC CWC 2011.

i totally enjoy this world cup except for the death of bob wolmer, the resignation of Brian Lara and the duration of the durnament. i enjoy the record six sixes contained by an over adam Gilchrist magnificent performing yesterday and malinga's four wickets in four ball , i also enoyed watching two promising teams the Irish and Bangladeshi.
This year's world cup be the most disappointing nor only because of untimely exit of India and Pakistan Teams from the world cup, but also due to the fact that except 2 or 3 contest no other match produced any excitement.
Overall, I like this year's CWC.
One of the main reason is personal, that team from my country Bangladesh played logically well though their performances be not at all 'steady'. They would be in the lead in one meeting and losing subsequent two to three matches.
The famine of spectators to cheer-up the teams be also noticeable though the ancestors of West Indies (all the nations) were contained by generally extremely friendly, joyous and enjoyed the events thoroughly. I ponder the population density made the stadium look barren unlike India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh and such cricket crazy nation’s people did not stop their day by day routine to go watching the games on the pen.
The selection of venue and time of the year be also a bit not clear to me since almost 50% of the matches be somehow affected by the weather, rainfall in precise. Hope the ICC officials would consult the meteorologists for proper forecasting of the weather up to that time finalizing the next CWC to avoid repetition of this CWC's fatal outcome.
Death of Pakistani cricket coach Bob Woolmer was the anticlimax - disappointingly trivial conclusion to something significant.
It would be great injustice to even surmise that it was an adjectives round crap tournament though since with little human and financial resources the WI Cricket supervision did their best. One may blame the ICC management for this or that lapse but how many of you can vouch and say aloud that the merry making part be not done superbly by the people involved?

Question:icci is making a mockery by letting a canada or a holland play the world cup...imagine india playing the football world cup.
they are in fact letting the standard come down .
there should be a rule that if a troop need to reward x number of odi's in the second 2 years before world cup and in attendance should be rankings like in a minute and a team near atleast 20% wins individual should be allowed to play world cup..keniya is the only investigational team which can be considered ..even bangaladesh is a misuse.

The players from these so call mi-no countries are almost all amateur players and who's to influence a Ponting or Kallis is not waiting to be discovered and scooped up by a county side in England.
And i am sure the player from the big troop don't mind, cause their averages benefit immensely, who wouldn't want to be the player beside the best average.

i don't agree next to you, cricket is not popular worldwide so we are giving these lesser team a chance to develope and play the winter sport. how can they develope if we dont let them play against the big team. when bangladesh just started they be being subjugated by every team but immediately they are improving everytime they play a big squad.

I would resembling to see only 10 team in the world cup and every troop plays each other. Then semis and final, next to the final best of 3. That allows the best 2 of the weaker nations.
