There are three types of international cricket; Tests, one day internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. All the countries play Tests surrounded by all white. The following are the colours for the One Day International team, starting with the best one first, next heading eastwards:

1) West Indies: Maroon, with green and teal trim
2) England: Blue beside red trim
3) South Africa: Green with pale trim
4) Zimbabwe: Red
5) Pakistan: Lime green with dim green trim

7) Sri Lanka: Blue with pallid trim
8) Bangladesh: Green with red trim
9) Australia: Usually sickly with ill-defined green trim, however changed recently to flowing green with wan trim
10) New Zealand: Black

Not all of the countries mentioned above enjoy played Twenty20 Internationals. Some like Australia and New Zealand hold used separate uniforms for Twenty20 games, but I am not sure whether these uniform are permanent. Twenty20 is of greatly new to the international circuit.

Can someone explain me when exactly is a batsman adjudge LBW? i suggest, what are the associated rules?

Question:please also tell me what it adjectives means, when a unusual batsman at the crease points some thing to the umpire beside his fingers (like say,2 fingers)...they refer to it as "taking guard".what exactly does it suggest?
Answers:

A batsman is adjudged to be LBW (leg in the past wicket) if the ball comes contained by contact with the body of the batsman (not necessarily leg) in need first hitting the bat or hands that are gripping the bat, and the umpire believes the orb is going on to hit the stumps (the three wooden sticks behind the batsman). However near are special conditions for a batsman to be judged LBW. They are
1) The globe must be a legal abdication (not a no-ball)
2) If the ball pitches (lands) outside the leg stump, the batsman is adjudge not out (leg stump will be explained later)
3) If the ball pitches (lands) outside the stale stump, the batsman is adguded to be not out if he is attempting a shot. If no shot is offered, he is out of the ball is believed to be going on to hit the stumps. (off stump will be explained later).

Taking Guard
There are three stumps at the back the batsman comprising the wicket. These are the off stump (the stump closer to the bat when the batsman is within his stance), the middle stump, and the leg stump (the stump closest to the leg when the batsman is in his stance). Taking guard is the practice of inside layer up the stance with the stumps so that he will know where on earth his stumps are when batting (helps his judgement). There are three types of guards
1) Middle: signalled as three by the batsman, where on earth the batman lines up his bat with the middle stump contained by his stance
2) Middle and leg: signalled as two by the batsman, where the batsman lines up his bat near the space between the middle and leg stump in his stance
3) Leg: signalled as one by the batsman, where on earth the batsman lines up his bat his bat with the leg stump contained by his stance.

When taking guard, the batsman ask the umpire with the proper bin liner of the bat, and then make a mark to sap the guard.

Hope this was thoughtful !
dear friend, according to the cricket rules if the ball is going to hit the middle stump and the batsman stops it from reaching the stump using his wipe (when the ball hits below the three internal lines on the pad) he is considered lbw.
don no srry
You can memorize all the rule in relation to lbw and still you won't be able to apply them correctly. Let the man wearing the white coat verbs about the lbw rules. When a foreign batsman takes a guard, he is just asking the umpire to let him blemish the trajectory of a delivery. In other words he requirements to mark the rotten stump, middle or the leg stump. If he is blocking the leg stump and the ball hits his wad he might get contained by trouble with the leg past wicket. One thing I resembling to tress is that the law of lbw is better contained on the field a bit than from any rule book.
Leg Before Wicket , as the name itself indicates,
When ur Leg is until that time the Wickets and the is going to hit the stumps but, instead it touched ur leg.
itz not ur mistake ..
If the batsman misses the ball next to his bat, but intercepts it with module of his body when it would otherwise have hit the wicket, and provided several other conditions (described below) are rewarded. An umpire must adjudicate such a decision, and will simply do so if the fielding troop appeal the decision. This is a give somebody the third degree asked of the umpire, usually of the form ``How's that?'' (or ``Howzat?''), and usually quite enthusiastic and loud. If the bubble bounces outside an imaginary vein drawn straight down the pitch from the outside edge of leg stump, afterwards the batsman cannot be out LBW, no matter whether or not the bubble would have hit the stumps. If the batsman attempts to play a shot at the bubble with his bat (and misses) he may just be given out LBW if the ball strikes the batsman between curious lines drawn down the pitch from the outside edges of leg and off stumps (ie. directly contained by line near the wicket). If the batsman does not attempt to play the ball next to his bat, then he may be given out LBW minus satisfying this condition, as long as the umpire is convinced the globe would have hit the wicket. If the globe has hit the bat up to that time the hitting the batsman, then he cannot be given out LBW.
a opening of dismissing the batsman. In brief, the batsman is out if, in the belief of the umpire, the ball hits any slice of the batsman's body (usually the leg) before hitting the bat and would enjoy gone on to hit the stumps.
