Buddy, I didn't know organizer or tail of cricket until I was 16. Well, coming from a traditional cricket loving country I remember as a kid elder watching cricket in TV and cheering for my home country, but may be coz I am a girl, I wasn't terrifically interested. However in this year I turned 16, I be idly watching my country playing contained by world cup, and at first I couldn't understand any of it. I certainly didn't even know that both teams seize the chance to bat and bowl. But as I hang on to watching, it started making sense little by little. Towards the end of that worldcup season, I be a cricket maniac! I understood trhe activity perfectly economically, and watched every single meeting. I love cricket from then on..

World Cup 2007-Final-- Forgettable?
Question:The world cup final is totally mess. It is the FINAL.If the match be delayed by rain and 50 overs could not be bowl consequently it should move to next daylight. The organigers did not do thier job economically.. Australia played deserverd win .but Slanka did not get impartial chance.Rain interuption.. make smaller over..so many things..is it final world cup?

Australia deserved to win, Gilchrist played great inning.
But yupcool is right.. Is that World Cup final? They do have extra year.. if you cannot play full over.. move to next year. ?
It's not about solitary Gilchrist inning in final.. roughly overall... and overall W-cup a flopped show.even stadium was worthless,ICC agreed too.
If you think anything something like that innings by Gilchrist was "forgettable", after you just don't know cricket.

The finals should have be postponed to the next morning to give disinterested chance to both the team. Yes, final was a "washout"!
However, it be a treat watching Gilchrist play his innings and all said and done, Australia deserved the win. Sri Lanka could enjoy played better, but their bowlers could not stop the Aussie batsmen going berseck with their bat!
On the whole, this world cup would not be an remarkable event, with Woolmer murder(?), India and Pakistan exiting contained by first round and not the least, team like Bangla Desh and Ireland showing to the world that they are not to be written rotten anymore!

Well i must tell this.Sri lankans be not ready to play a 38 over winter sport.You know their full potential is when they play 50 over games.They build up slowly and acclerate in the middle overs.Thats the type of squad we have see.Where Aussiees are quite different near a tendancy to do pinch hitting from the beginning to the wrapping up which.When the number of overs were reduced aussiees get a big advantage coz they could play their inbred game where on earth they did.
