I do think we are anyone harsh on them! After adjectives, people approaching Sourav Ganguly, Sachin, Rahul Dravid have be performing for the country for years. Agreed that they failed within a very crucial juncture at their occupation, it does not mean they do not own talent or their failure is due to 'old age'. I one-sidedly feel that they can play for a much longer time than the country is predicting.

There is no impair in have seniors and juniors. What is required is the attitude to the sport. Any winter sport involves competition and the players must have the spirit to excel and try to come out on top contained by the face of adverse conditions. No body give success on a platter. The Indian players own been a pamper lot. The public also are to be blamed in that they enjoy been giving them undue attention and adoration, which make them self conceited.
It is not the ask of seniors or juniors quitting-but of ceremony. In Australia, it is the seniors who perform.

Viv Richards and Aravinda De Silva do not own records to their name but these two, in my eyes, stand the foremost when we speak of bat under pressure. They never have any pressure, were supremely confident, and played thier strokes inherently. They were never shielded against any faddy bowler -as our 'best batsman' was shielded against Ray Price of Zimbabwe, a few years posterior. It was a shame, but Price did carry him eventulally.
I have seldom Sachin perform on succulent tracks, and under pressure. Dravid, Saurav, enjoy performed better. To quote examples, Sachin just about performed against Shane Bond, MacGrath, Brett lee, or even Vaas where on earth there be a slight bounce in the pitch. He is call a 'blaster'-I do not know why. As for Dravid and Saurav, Saurav deserves to be reinstated as captain, and Dravid (now that he have got what he deserved as captain) should be allowed to verbs as a player.
