Buying a road bicycle?
I'm looking to buy an 08 Cannondale Synapse 3. I read that you should get no smaller number then 105 components and the Synapse 3 have Ultegra components. This would be my first bike as I run marathons now and I want to get hold of into dualthons and eventually triathlons. Anyone have any experience near this model or brand? What do you think of the bike?Answers: I hold a Cannondale but not your model. I looked at it, it's a very sweet bike. Ultegra is an excellent group and will work okay for you. I'm not saying this is THE bike but if you want it, you will not be disappointed next to the workmanship, quality or see.
I would go for it if you hold the money and it feels right. The components and specs are dutiful. I would check and make sure that you approaching the geometry and ride of the bike before you purchase. The best bike within the world is not for you if it does not ride right so be open to change in what you grasp. If the better fitting bike costs $200 more just dance for it and you body will thank you later. If you do resembling the feel and every article i would go for it. M R is our Cannondale supporter, and he like them -- that's good ample for me. Your question seem to me to be curious about Ultegra, also. I hold the full 105 group on my bike -- I would love to have the full Ultegra group (well Dura-Ace if I have things my way $$).
I have considered the Synapse when I was shopping for my second bike. It was massively close in specs to a Fuji professional. I leaned towards Giant because whenever I come up with about Cannondales, I have an idea that about aluminum bikes. I be unsure about how long they have been offering carbon frames. The bike shop controller didn't allay my concerns. I ended up beside a Giant OCR C2 with Ultegra. The Ultegra group is fantastic. It is adjectives you will ever need. It's next-to-tops within the Shimano line, above the 105.

Go near what feels the best. It is dicey going out shopping with specific label in mind, as it results surrounded by a bias one way or another for a product regardless of what may in reality be the best fit for you. If the cap fits, wear it. Cannondale is one of the most reputable name in the business, and the component collection on the Synapse 3 is impressive. I bought a untried road machine ultimate week and went beside Felt, because the bike fit well and the price be right. I found that I could get profusely more bike per dollar on a Felt frame. I asked a friend a similar question only just. He's done multiple triathlons and loves road bikes.
His answer was "the 3 most substantial things in picking a bike are fit, fit, and fit".
You can other add components subsequent if you can't afford it all presently.
