The Best Triathlon Bike Wheels?
Question:I've been told that instead of buying a brand new tri-bike I should simply upgrade my wheels (I enjoy 650s) What are the best Triathlon Bike Wheels for the money?

Zipp 404's will be the best wheels for you. They are particularly aerodynamic and light. They'll increase your speed contained by the flats and the hills. The tubulars are lighter than the clinchers. I'd suggest those for race and use training wheels for everyday use.
Check out Ebay, that's where on earth I bought mine. You can save abundantly of money over buying them new.
dimpled Zipp 909 fronts near 999 full disk rear. The set of two will cost around $1500-2000.
or some HED Trispoke or Mavic Carbone front with Campy Ghibili flipside disk.
Zipp's are the best for disk and carbon wheels.
For the money, Neuvation make deep dish carbons that are a fantastic concordat and veyr high competence.

Bahh...what's this adjectives about Zipps and 404's? Hasn't anyone hear about spending smaller amount than the GNP of Kenya on a set of wheels? Simply put find a used set of two of wheels and enjoy them be the best you can afford. Buying a new couple of $2000.00 wheels will let go you about 350-400 grams, that's smaller amount than a pound, over a pair of $800.00 wheel. Granted they won't be as flashy or loaded with carbon, but if you really want to lose that pound, lose the freight off yourself. It's free, and you will walk faster. Wheels help, but don't jump for the best, go for obedient and easily replaceable. Always remember how sweet it is when you overwhelm the other riders with the more expensive machines and wheel, and how all that money doesn't give up to better training.

True about what the other poster said going on for the zip wheel. But they are great, Right now plentifully of folks are switching to 700c wheels so used 650's are adjectives over the place. Just get a correct aero front wheel, doesn't concern what kind. Zips 404's are devout, reliable and right now failry inexpensive, so why not return with a set? If you want a good flipside wheel in need spending a lot of money gain a Renn Disk, you might have to skulk a bit for a 650 but you won't get a better price vs working disk. Plus a disk makes a tremendously cool noise! :)
Can anyone enlighten me nearly Lotus Bicycles?
Question:My husband has a bicycle that he bought surrounded by the mid-1980's. The Lotus logo is literally just that, a Lotus up on the boss tub. Does anyone know anything about it?

The Lotus Aerodynamic Super Pro have a small insert in the book call "The Complete Triathlon Distant Training Manual" by Bob Johnson and Bragg Patricia. It was on the inner stern cover pages. Small photos more or less the life around Kailua Kona,Hawaii for the Ironman Tri. They even have a support crew and van sporting the Lotus logo. I guess it was announcement for their aero bike that came beside the top of the line Shimano Aero AX components. The bike frame have some aero attributes to the tubes that was a big entry back contained by 1981.

The best fit for a bicycle is that she is able to sit on the form and put both feet firmly on the ground. If this is a surprise consequently I would measure her inner leg length and embezzle that to the store.
My daughter is 9...will be 10 in January...she is trading up to a 24"...she is 4' big.when standing with her bottom by the form she should be able to touch the floor next to her toes as a rule
It depends on how tall she is. The creature sitting on the bike should be able to touch the ground. To manoeuvre how far to raise the form, measure from the groin down to the pedal. The leg should be bent slightly. This will be a pious measure to how big you can raise the form and which bike would be a better fit.

the easiest way would be to taker her to a store and hold her try out both sizes and get her input. 10 years is borderline between 20" and 24". frame size depends greatly too.
if she is average sized, after i recommend getting a 24" with a small frame, close to a 14" or 16". this way she grow into it and use it for years. the smaller frame will hold a lower top tube which makes mounting easier.
