depends. they have restrictor chips that determine the top speed. i hear they bring zippy at top speed.
ive only see them going about 10mph
i conjecture on average around 14 or 15 Mph. which in a big city, considering adjectives the traffic, the taxi average speed is individual 10 or 11 Mph. which would you take?

Are at hand any mtb clubs and/or trails surrounded by inside London?
Question:I'd like to know of any mtb clubs contained by London - preferably East London (although i don't mind travelling). Also if anyone knows of any apposite trails not too far from central London?

I don't know about anything within London, But Penshurst (www.porc-online.co.uk) is a short train journey south (near Tonbridge). There are loads of trails, it's as a rule catered for DH, 4x and dirt jumping, but here is an XC loop too.
It's super chilled out and loads of fun, regular races too.
What caring of trails are you after?
London's (obviously) not got a great deal of them, but being the hub of the UK's transport lattice means it's not unyielding to get to most.
Swinley, Bracknell, Dorking, the Downs, Epping are adjectives good for XC if you know where on earth to look.
Where's a upright place to flog a Jamis road bike? (and not eBay)?

a very confident way is to see if your local bike shop will deal in it on consignment... especially if you have a favorite shop that you dance to a lot and spend money within they will be likely to facilitate you... and you don't have to verbs about payments, shipping, etc.
depends on where on earth you live but you could look on the internet for a bike swap near you. fantastic for selling bikes, even better for buying parts i liv within CT went to one surrounded by Mass. and got almost $400 worth of mtb clips pedals and shoes, helmet be a brand new giro $15, clips angelic condition used shimano $20, shoes brand new adidas hammer $10 dollars. great place to sell bikes too.
Jamis make good bikes and you shouldn't own any trouble selling yours. Try putting a posting up on Craigslist. Some people comb those ad all daylight looking for good bikes.
You could also stop contained by a local bike shop and ask them if they know of any other local forums to post an ad. Many shops enjoy a "classifieds" bulletin board.
I would suggest doing a little research on craigslist, ebay, other other places to numeral out how much your bike sells for- keeping within mind that the better the condition, the more you can get.
How much this bicycle cost brand new, (correction)?
Question:I have a Raleigh Technium 440 race bike. It was purchased by my belatedly aunt around 1993. How much this must have cost when it be bought?
I asked yesterday same quetion, (I know :)) but when I went home I checked it again and I hold the right model now, sorry.

Still like peas in a pod answer. around $500 to $700
hard to say aloud...4-5hundred cuz bikes made back after are not supergreat ones but with the technolegy they have back after 500 bucks is a good bet.
Please be aware that the price of that bike afterwards, is greatly different than the value of that bike presently.
