Do Shimano FC R600 and FC 4550 chainwheels use hollowtech technology? What are the respective weights?

According to shimano's site both these CRANKSETS are hollowtech 2.
The 34 tooth chainwheels on both, are identical (same quantity number.) The 50 tooth chainwheels are NOT interchangeable.
The fc 4550 is a Tiagra level component
The fc r600 is an Ultegra rank component
Usually a more serious rider would select the better Quality ultega components. Both ware and performance is better.
If your not doing a mass of distance the Tiagra components will serve well satisfactory and are cheaper.
If your contemplating fitting the fc r600 chainwheel (50 t) to the tiagra level components don"t bother it won't fit.
Although Shimano have really advanced in the use of adjectives edge technology for parts, your press of weight contained by that particular element of a bike is a little grotesque.
Keep in mind that the crank is probably the most abused piece of a bike and shaving a few grams just have a potential to make it weaker- where on earth you can least afford it. On top of that, by positive the same weight- let say 30 grams- on the tires it will provide you beside an equivalent 300 grams in execution improvement and not risk loss of strength newly for the sake of weight.
They are hollowtech II cranksets but I own been unqualified to find a site with their respective weights.

I don't know the name or addy but nearby is a prety big bycicle shop in Columbus IN. They have a big selection of bikes from brand presently to restored clasics.
Do you want a reproduction Krate or a real one? If you want a concrete one, which model- Orange Krate, Apple Krate, Lemon Peeler, Grey Ghost, Cotton Picker? How do you want it outfitted?
Many shops that carry (or carried) Schwinn will probably enjoy a couple reproductions around- just ask.
Note that the "Grape Krate" be never really produced... there hold been some society that had decals made. Neither be the "Cherry Picker" girls bike.
For a fully outfitted original Grey Ghost 5 speed, expect to wage $3,000 or more. The Orange Krate was the most popular, and you can bring back prime examples for about $1200.00 to $2,000.00.
I know a couple of shops in Michigan and Ohio that restored Krates, but don't retract their names. I would suggest calling some Schwinn dealer in your nouns (not WalMart or Target) and asking if they have any contacts.
