Not as lots as you'd think! None of the ones round my process seem to even know what traffic regulations are, they merely cycle where-ever they like, through red lights, into oncoming traffic, where-ever! Stupid cyclists!

Too lots!
Most cyclist who are killed or injured surrounded by traffic accidents are inexperienced riders. It's a certainty that riders who commute and /or are involved with cycling clubs are smaller number likely to be involved contained by an accident.
Dunno, bit morbid ain't cha? I've be knocked rotten 2 times and the bastards haven't killed me all the same (touch wood!) Anyway who cares everybody know scars are tattoos for the brave, thats right ya hear me!

Which full suspension bike is the best climber - enjoy a 5K budget or so?

Question:My current bike - Trek 9900 Pro Issue "top shelf" components 19 lbs. (1996) I used to race but I very soon just relish riding a few days a week, UNFORTUNATELY the XC race position + firm tail is becoming very wearing on my hindmost (broke it 27 years ago, now it's getting more sensitive the elder I get). A few months ago I rented an Intense Spyder FRO and a Yeti AS-Rslc for the day and I couldn't believe the difference from my Trek (at most minuscule it felt vastly different), it seemed close to I was sitting more "upright" than my concrete tail and was much easier to climb even though it weigh 6lbs more. The awesome thing is that my rear legs didn't hurt much even at hour 5, on an insane climbing / technical / long ride. After comparing geometry specs to my Trek vs. Yeti & Intense, they aren't much different... immediately I'm somewhat confused... it seemed approaching it had to hold been more than basically the cushy suspension that kept my back from hurting so much. I'm selling my Trek this week and am immediately in the marketplace for a FS Bike

Nice budget... You have abundantly of options. Botht eh Spyder and yeti are totally good. For that money, I would also look at a Titus Racer-X (probably you could move about titanium and custom sized), Ventana El Saltamontes, Turner Flux, Ellsworth probably has some pious options too, but I don't know much something like that line.

It's not individual about geometry, but I'm finding that have two bikes similar geometry, but one is a FS and the other a HT, because of sag, when you're riding they will grain different.

Also, try to get a adjustable travel fork (right in a minute, most companies offer different option for this), this will help you also on climbs since you can lower the front of the bike on climbs, and elevate it for flats and descends.

Also, pay attention to the wheelsets, since not merely weight in your favour is important, the hub is also amazingly much so. Depending on how you build the bike, you can go for Industry-9 hubs, or Chris King, or Hadley flipside hub with 79 or more engagement points. Current Shimano (except for 07 XTR), mavic and most standard hubs enjoy 18 engagement points, or close to it. Hope has 24 on the Pro II hub, or 36 on the Bulb. This make differences when you're climbing, or have to restart a climb at the middle of it.

I don't assume you'll get a 19 lbs reachable target, but probably somewhere around 23-25 lbs. But I might be wrong on this. On immensity, put attention on tires that are light and own low rolling resistance, and rims too.
Women have a Femur/Pelvis integrated further forward than a man does - thus, a womens performance is GREATLY increased by bringing her more adjectives +5* ~ +10* or more. The other way around this equation is that women put 15~20% greater nouns on their lower back riding a bike than a man does!

About the bikes... The Main Pivot placement is the knob to pedaling performance. Main Pivot too low and you go and get bob.. Too high and the suspension wishes to top out too much!

For us here in the States I can recount you that the new Hi Fi from Gary Fisher is the hottest bike going...

We've sold our complete inventory of them surrounded by 2 months!

Felt Virtue is an awesome bike as well as the Hi Fi... It have a link to the rocker that ties everything together... This thig works amazingly okay - even with adjectives your weight rotten the saddle, it STILL gave a greatly lively suspension action - I in truth just get to test one this long-gone weekend... I was impressed!

VPP(Virtual Pivot Point) bikes hold a fluctuating leverage ration that makes the shock REALLY REALLY tricky to tune, especially with todays platform shocks... You any have no small bump comliance or too much small bump comliance and the shock bottoms out.

Less Pivots - Less Pain contained by the butt - Fisher = always single pivot...

Fuel EX9 is my pick though - Trek have the most winningest team contained by North America!
$5 grand----thats a spectacular amount! I suggest you get a grip on a Rocky Mountain ETSX- 70---it received rave reviews from MTBA ( Mountain Bike Action magazine)---or if you want authentic bitchin ( er, pardon my French) kit get an Intense 5.5 ( Cambria Bike Outfitters---www.cambriabikes. a Santa Cruz Bullitt ( Adrenaline Bikes.com Find a perfect size and TEST DRIVE before you buy!

What is the best route to cycle London - Brighton and how long does it steal?

Answers:

I can answer from the point of view of Dorking surrounded by Surrey to West Wittering - when I lived in the UK I did this ride several times one summer on my mountain bike. I remember taking the A24 most of the passageway, and this road does take you to the Brighton Road, which runs along the coast for going on for 10 miles and will take you to Brighton. If you're going to do this, categorically ride during off-peak times because the A roads can be a little dicey. Also own fun climbing the South Downs at the end of the ride. Maybe there's a book covering the annual L-to-B ride, that could better answer your give somebody the third degree.
ADDED LATER - It took me about 4 hours to do 60 miles, because I'm overweight and slow.
It take approximately hours
