Will the truvativ Howitzer bottom bracket fit my bike?
Question:I have a 2006 Kona Stinky with the stock Hussefelt Howitzer cranks, just wondering if this bottom bracket will fit ok.

That BB comes in two sizes, 56mm and 50/51mm.
50mm or 51mm is proper for the 135mm rear spacing and 68mm or 73mm bb width - YOU
56 is for the newer 150mm rear spacing and 68mm or 73mm Bottom Bracket... Keep in mind that 150 may also use the newest 85mm bottom bracket width!
Try performance for the bash guard - Use MRP and E13 myself.

Uncomfortable bike form..how to business deal?
Question:Got this great new bike. Only problem is the form is hell on my butt bones. It is not a problem with my ball or related equipment, just my butt bones. It looks resembling a pretty good form, and I have have this problem even with more expensive seating. Will my muscles adjust and just take used to it? Or do I need to reposition my form? Any tips?

I'm not sure if getting a harder/softer saddle will work. I'm also hurting from today's ride in in attendance, so I'm sort of in a misery mode.
You can check several things up to that time changing saddle. I would first start to see if the saddle is leveled horizontally, or titled. Also, you can try moving your butt while riding.
How much time do you have on the form? If it's been a long time since you enjoy ridden a bike, and you have one or two days on the bike, it's majority to feel approaching that, and just endow with it some time.
If you have spent some time on the bike, and still be aware of married to the seat, after it's probably time to search for a strange one.
Mountain bikes seats come contained by, generarily, 3 different widhts: 130-140-150, more or less. Getting a right one will oblige you, I think.
Some Specialized shops own a butt measuring form (well, I don't know what they're called, but that's what they do, assistance to measure your sit bones). You form on this foam-like cushion, and your hip bones supposedly leave some grades. You simple measure how broad they are...
Saddles are like shoes, they hold to fit. You could buy 1,000 bucks shoes straight from Italy (or wherever), but if they're the wrong size, you might as well own bought sandals in the flea bazaar for all they're serve you. Well, you'll probably cessation up using the sandals and throwing away the ill-fitting shoes.
Replace it with one of the comfy gel ones.
The form is just too unyielding. Change it.
But skinny people tend to experience this problem. Get a better butt. Do squats, kick, jogs, runs. You'll soak up cycling more and look great in a two of a kind of jeans.
I think it is clear you are prepared for a real bike. Sometimes these bikes look okay and you can cycle some miles but at too much expense. I own determined it is the frame. The cheaper bikes just don't respect the backside. You could buy a big huge cushioned seat and replace it for some comfort but not approaching a name brand expensive bike. Also, open clean the form because its an outside transportation. Discontinue your current bike, throw it away. Just walk and await an opportunity for a actual bike.
Get some better shorts to wear. You could try a different seat. I integer shorts are a cheaper fix. Some of the cheaper biking shorts have thicker nouns. Give them a try.
Two things. Get a good couple of padded cycling shorts/pants. If you still quality uncomfortable, replace your form. The best thing to do is to examination out as many saddle as possible till you find one that fits you best. It may be a more expensive saddle, but then again it might be cheaper.
