because as soon as you get on the bike you can symmetry your self, if you were competent to do it before
Because it's a skill explicitly learned contained by the cerebellum (part of the brain), which also controls some basic bodily functions such as walking. You probably bookish to walk when you be one year old. Did you ever hear of anyone forgetting how to hike?
The skill is learned within the mid-brain. It's not a piece of information (like a phone number) that can be forgotten by the higher brain (cerebrum, psychological cortex).
Confidence and your balance.

Is front suspension on a hybrid city/path bike meaningful? Or how worthwhile is it?
Answers:
Unless that bike path is really rough *and* you plan on riding on that side of the road really fast (like 25+ mph), any front suspension is lone going waste your money and join useless weight on your bike. Even worse are those really cheap dept. store bikes that own faux front suspensions that add freight and don't even work...
If you are only planning on riding on roads and bike path, you don't really need to spend your money on front (or rear) suspensions, or even knobby tires. Focus on a desk light frame, components that really work (and are servicable) and if the bike you want comes with knobby tires, construct your bike shop swap them out for a pair of slicks!
No, unless you plan to do some minor stale roading it isn't worth your money.
no, it's weight you don't have need of on the bike and saps use.
Bikes in impossible to tell apart price range minus suspension often enjoy higher ability frames and or components. And those things are important.
Unless you ride on unpaved trails, rough trails, you don't obligation suspension.
All depends on your personal preference...

Does anyone know of a helmet that might fit her as I have not be able to find one locally. Answers:
It's extremely important to determine whether your daughter have sufficient neck strength to wear a helmet. You might want to consult your physician prior to buying a helmet. Also, you may want to look for a soft-shell model. Incidentally, I sincerely hope your husband wear his helmet, too, when he rides to set a positive example for your daughter. At her age she should only be towed contained by a bike trailer and not carried on the bike itself. Frankly, I don't advise the use of bike chairs under any condition, but that's purely a personal edict. I applaud you for being a conscientious parent and setting a angelic example for your child.
use bubble wrap, or go to wallmart and look for a bell helmet for tiny little kids
