Cross/hybrid bikes approaching novaro buzz?
Question:I went to the Marin REI today and theory test rode a lot of great bikes. Ironically, I like a bike that I hadn't heard of back the most- the Novaro Buzz. I liked that it be nimble, trouble-free to maneuveur, light shipment, yet sturdy, but also hastily and efficient. It be like riding the child of the Marin Muirwoods (urban) and the Marin Hwy 1 (road). However, $800 is more than I can feel spending. Is there something close to it- a hybrid/cross btw an urban and a road bike for closer to $500? My second choice for a fun ride would be the Muirwoods.
Answers:
REI is extremely expensive. Even their discount items are more expensive than most other places. I honestly don't know how they stay in business. Unfortunately Novara is REI's house brand, which way you can't buy it anywhere else. There's no price comparison between retailers.
However, that being said, the right bike is the bike that fits YOU the best.
I would check out the lineup from Trek and Specialized. This means of access you can go to 1 shop and tryout the bike, then nickname other shops in the nouns to find the best price. The Trek Sport Urban (SU100/SU200) looks very similar to the Novara. Both are down under $500, so you should be seeing a price closer to $400.

How do i remove a intermingle from a bicycle tie up?
Answers:
You need a fasten buster. Go to Walmart and get one for around $10. They won't closing forever but they work.
You have to bear TWO links out, not just ONE. look at the fasten and see why.
You need to use a double act of needle snout pliers and a screw driver. Locate the main interconnect and remove that, and then appropriate out the first link. Replace the foremost link human being sure to press it firmly into place.
you Need A chain tool.
you spin the spindal and it pushes the pin out of the join to break the chain.
You push the pin wager on into the link where on earth you want the chain. Be sure to stick a small screwdriver contained by the chain links you repair and shake to and fro it around to loosten them up to the point that they will pivot correctly. The links you work on will be stiff and will break again when you ride if you do not loosten them up after fixing the chain.

That should help you out... most Mid-High End bikes use a videotape bearing within that assembly... anything less is inferior!
by the instrument i have a int. headset on my Klein and hold never once had an issue next to it.
It would depend on the diameter of the forks being used 1 inch or 1 1/8 inch.
Also, near are three main types of integrated stance standards, Cane Creek, Campagnolo and I am not sure what the thrid one is called. The FSA website have all the details, they are colour coded aswell to formulate your life for a time easier.
Good Luck!
