Bicycle tricks?

Question:Can anyone give me any dutiful websites about bicycle tricks especialy jump? Advice is acepted to.
Answers:

www.bmxstunts.com

its a real virtuous site with vids. but manly flatland.

www.bmx-zone.com

www.ehow.com
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/bike_tricks...

That's really adjectives I can find. Go to www.youtube.com and type in bike tricks and you should know how to watch those performing tricks and you can try to imitate the easier tricks.

To seize the bike in the upper air though, just bend your knees and do a step like motion next to your legs without lifting them stale of the pedals and pull next to your arms and kind of lean final a little bit. Once you can do this and find up into the air pretty dignified, it should be easy for you to cram new tricks.

How do i finish my bmx?

Question:ive built a bmx and finished it all, but after my chain kept falling sour ,so a freind told me i need to replace the axle because the reverse wheel wobled, so i took the axle out.
would a mountain bike axle fit on to my bmx its a 20" frame?
and what would you sudgest i do? cheers pete

Pete,

First, you requirement to make sure the secure tension is appropriate. you should know how to move the chain a partly an inch up or down.
If there's too much slack, the chain will unsurprisingly fall past its sell-by date if you hit any bumps. Try loosening up your rear pedals axle nuts and pulling back on the reins. Don't forget to make sure the controls is straight in the dropouts previously you tighten the nuts again. Also, check to make sure the tiller has equal spacing up at the joint of the chain and form stays.

This is the other issue. If your wheel is crooked, that manner your cassette is crooked too, which would create sort of a twisting effect, causing the tie up to pop off. Just take home sure your wheel is as straight have possible, and the chain is relatively tight (half an inch of slack maximum), and you should be virtuous.

I wouldn't suggest putting a mountain bike axle in your hub. It's not going to be hugely cost-effective, and if your BMX bike is high-quality brand (not Next, Huffy, Magna, Vertical, etc...), probability are it has a 14 mm axle. The mountain bike axle won't fit surrounded by your dropouts correctly, which is a safety jeopardy, plus you could potentially damage your bike.

If none of this works, nick a look at the teeth on both your rear cassette and your front chainring; if even one tooth is bent, that could mete out your chain to leak off. Sometimes you can bring back lucky and bend the teeth back beside a small pipe wrench, but in lots cases the parts will need to be replaced.

Hope that help some, Pete!
HI Pete

Just bin it and nick someone elses
A cuff falling off is almost never the result of a bent axle.

Here's what to do:

1) Reinstall the axle, receive sure all bearing are in place and that it is accustomed correctly.
2) Reinstall the freewheel (you DID remove the freewheel before you took out the axle, right?)
3) Install the backside wheel onto the frame as usual
4) form sure the chain is around the front sprocket and flipside freewheel.
5) Pull the rear reins back until the tie up is no longer slack
6) Tighten the nuts... if you have cuff tighteners they should be installed and utilized to make the fasten slack-free. If there are no cuff tighteners make categorically sure you have washers between the frame and nuts in the past you tighten them.
7) If the chain is still loose, your manacle is probably too long and must be shortened. A bike shop can do this in underneath 5 minutes.
DO NOT put a mountain bike axle on...i own a bike shop and people ask that adjectives the time.go to your bike shop and gain the parts meant for your bike...i build a flatland bmx bike so i should know. mountain bike axles will snap from the unyielding use on your bmx bike. my recommened site for all BMX parts is www.flatlandfuel.com excellent service!!
it depends on the size of your mountain bike. mountain bike axels probably wont be long plenty to support pegs though
Well #1 Do not put a mountain bike axle contained by there. They wont fit right. It sounds approaching the hub was loose. To remedy that bear and tighten it up and this will stop the wobbling. It may have be what was cause the chain to pop but it sounds approaching you didnt have it tensioned properly. Buy some manacle tensioners find the tight spot on the chainwheel and tighten it to where its almost tight on that spot. If its a cassete spawn sure the cog is tight and that it works correctly with the manacle. Also check to make sure the chainwheel fits the secure properly. Now if all explicitly ok check the alignment of the chainwheel and freewheel/cassete because if they arnt lined up properly it will make happen the chain to rear off alot. This is remided by tallying or subtracting spacers from the crank area as long as you own a 3pc crank. Or you can move spacer from one side to the other if you have them to align it right. Though this may throw the rear legs wheel out of center so I dont suggest it unless its a ultimate resort. All of those things should help you to achieve your chain problem fixed. If not purloin it to a local bike shop and have them look at it. Oh and check your secure to ive found that some chains are not made right and will not sit right on the cogs and chainwheel. Hope that helps

What Should I Do ?

Question:i have a cbr dirt hog and i am strongly thinking going on for a saracen mantra 2 should i get the mantra 2 or the mantra 1
Answers:

Yup put it within the right page... Oh wait YOU DID! So I'll answer :P

If you bought the Mantra 2, for an extra lb100 you'd bring the following...

24 gears instead of 21
A manitou fork instead of an RST fork (not a bad upgrade)
Shimano Acera mech instead of Altus
Branded (Tioga) Tyres
Quite possibly overall better ability parts all over.

i'd articulate thats work lb100 - you're basically paying for the better fork more than anything, but 24 gears will also oblige if you take offroad pretty serious.

Both bikes enjoy the same brakes (not amazing ones actually).

It adjectives comes down to budget - if you have the extra spare money you'll bring back more for it on the Mantra 2 than if you buy the Mantra 1 and upgrade later. Personally for the money I'd catch something with V Brakes, and next to better quality fork and components contained by other areas, as the mechanical discs are a spend in dribs and drabs of money.
What should you do ? Post your question on the right page.
