How to mesure bottom bracket axel lenght for a specific frame?
Question:I always enjoy this problem when building from the frame up, I have to try-out many bottom brackets to catch the correct chain procession. Is there a bearing to calculate the axel lenght to obtain it right the first time (when you have no innovative parts for the frame)?
Answers:
first measure the b.b. shell, usually 68 or 73 mm. the spindle length determines on the frame businesswoman and whether you are running a double, triple, and/or the type of crank

Measure it end to finishing. Most average 109mm. Make sure you use the right components.

Can anyone suggest a honest mountain bike for lb300-lb400. Also dont know what is a flawless bring in? any suggestions?

Firstly, what sort of mountain biking are you going to do? XC? Free ride? Down hill?
Lets assume XC. Are you going to a moment ago go out for a ride, do you stipulation a race set up? How big are the hill that you plan on climbing.
Once you have established what you want to do, you can look at frame and components. For lb300 - lb400 you are not going to get XT. Chances are you will hold 21 speed Shimano pods. Do not do twist grip, or integrated gear/brakes. Too much to travel wrong. However, there are bargain out there if you look for them:
Claude Butler - Cape Wrath. Very well-mannered Deore (27) spec bike, with Rockshock J2s. Although the 07 model is lb450, you can carry last years for lb350 is. This have 6061 Ali frame and V brake.
Specialized do a reasonable model for something like lb350. RST forks (Downside) and 24 speed Acera gears. Good frame though.
Scott also have a bike contained by this range, but it is moderately heavy. That said you can return with an 06 Scale for about lb450. Good see bike, but not ideal for common use (Deore).
Giant have bought out a okay bike for lb425. This has an ali frame 6061 and hydrolic disks. The shocks are not great, but will do what you want. Also come beside Deore.
However, you might also consider last years XTC. You can still pick these up for roughly lb410. This has an excelent frame, hydraulic discs, 100mm shocks and Mazzoci forks.
People enjoy mentioned Marin and you might also look at Cannondale. Both of these are about lb800 over your budget, although you can pick up a Canondale frame and forks from e-bay remarkably reasonably.

My hubby have got a Marin,i'd never hear of it before but he swears by it.They are reasonably expensive but i'm sure you could look about for other or a second hand one.
What do you want it for?
if its rough ground for downhill and extreme use...later i suggest a SARRACEN HAZZARD for your price range.
if you want a bike to ride around on flat roads or basically to get to work next go and draw from yourself a second hand cheap one and let go over lb200 of your money.
Marin is top as suggested to you already..you are right
i have one and is my prefferd bike for downhill as it take anything i put it through but..
your looking at over lb900 brand new

Any known brand will be fine for a construct but as for a particular bike reccommendation relatives will tell you what bsuits them and at hand riding style and not what suits you so you need to procure out and try some bikes, i would recommend a claud butler cape wrath and if you could stretch your budget for a while then i would reccommend the headland wrath disc as this is better although roughly a hundred pounds more
most manufacturers hold different levels of bikes within most price ranges, so you will need to shop for exactly what you are looking for...
but for brand name I recommend KHS, Specialized, Giant, Marin, and Trek...

I'd say it's your bike shorts. I have a pair of bib shorts that cause me the same frustration. Needless to right to be heard, I don't wear 'em anymore. My preferred bib shorts/knickers are manufactured by Santini. You'll be hard-pressed to find a better clothier. They make maybe the finest and most comfortable cycling clothes on this planet. Yeah, they're expensive but they're well worth it.
Move around within the saddle a lot. Just sitting and pumping make him turtle and puts to much pressure on the nerve bundle. Get up stand move yourself around.
