How do you adjust avid power-driven brakes?

Question:for a specialized stumpjumper hardtail . cant get it to stop squeeking.
Answers:

Hate to break it to you...sometimes they only don't stop squeaking. The first thing you should try is cleaning the brake rotors (the disc on your rim) near alcohol. If that doesn't work...then use the red adjustment knob but beware...you may get the brakes to stop squeaking, but it may come at a cost. If you use the knob to stop the squeaking, you will probably have to move the brake pad farther away from the rotor which will result in a looser have a feeling to your brakes...i.e. you will have to verbs harder in decree to stop as fast.

If that doesn't work...check your rotors...spin your controls and look straight at the rotor...it could be slightly warped. I've hear some people try to straighten them posterior out, but I recommend just replacing the rotors. Aztec make a good replacement set that works pretty resourcefully. Eventually the heat build-up at the rotors WILL warp them, so sooner or latter you'll need to replace them and that might return with rid of the squeaking as well.

Hope this help
I have Avids On my Trike. There is a red knob on the outside of the brakes and it have arrows for rotation and adjustment, backing past its sell-by date the knob should move the brake pads stale the rotor and should stop your squeeking problem.
your rims may be dirty due to pad build-up...

verbs them and the squeeking may stop...

This might give the impression of being resembling a retarded quiz but..?

Question:I just bought a 15 speed bike and which speed is better for going up a hummock?
Answers:

It's not as retarded as why do some belly buttons smell like ***... adjust the speeds as you are riding. some will automatically transmute according to the terrain you are on. play with the gears and you'll eventually amount out what's best for what terrain.
retarted is not a nice word to use
the lower speeds (gears), as it will be easier..but you will have to pedal a great deal more.

a higher gear would be closely harder!
there is no retarded put somebody through the mill . there is retarded family.
Small chainring in the front and the big chainring surrounded by the back make it easier. Opposite allows you to go faster.
There is no accurate answer to your question. The stronger you become, the high gear your will be able to climb surrounded by... start out with your lower gears and experiment. Ride protected!!

croch rackit
Electra
Right on!

Electra - Townie is the opening to go..
You own to stretch you back and your shoulder
Hybrids are honest.
the Electa's are cool, but that design was brought out first by Vision cycles a year or two sooner.

You could try a recumbent - a Sun EZ-1 or EZ-Sport are good, entry-level models. Lean vertebrae and enjoy!

There are lots of traditional, diamond-frame bikes that can be set up to position the rider more adjectives (we did this for my wife on a Schwinn hybrid for a while due to back niggle, now she rides a recumbent - BikeE).
