Why do fixed gear riders reason its more connected?
Question:why do fixed gear riders think its more at one next to the road? its still on a bike just near less benefits and more problems, around turns on bumpy roads its harder on knees your never contained by the right gear its not very practical inspired velodrone racers arent stopping and going like contained by real city riding fad are contagious though after all this * chitchat i'll probly get one too

Riding a fixed gear can be fun and addictive. I roll both fixed and geared, and both mountain and road.
Riding a fixed gear is more of a "pure" experience, surrounded by my opinion, which is what I assume you denote by "more at one with the road". Riding near gears sometimes seems similar to cheating- if a large position approaches, you can always gear down to a granny gear and crank up the mound on a geared bike. On a fixy- it's all you- you any have the guts and gumption to acquire up the hill, or the mound wins and you enjoy to walk it up.
Additionally, riding a fixed gear is a great workout- you roughly always own to crank hard to budge, whereas you have the risk of "dogging it" in a granny gear on a standard geared bike.
Other benefits of riding fixed are a lighter bike (all else equal), and social cache- fixies are cooler than geared (in my importantly subjective opinion.) I once saw a guy riding a century on a fixy- immediately he had guts!
idk dude, adjectives i know is that i love shifting gears and the flexibility it gives me...and speed.
some individuals take it as a taunt.. for others it is cheaper to buy a small fixed gear and commute.. and still others consider it a "rocky" style way of training for race (if you do it the hard track, then when you use mroe gears its a piece of cake). It adjectives depends on the person.
i dont take it either. fixies just have one gear and no dropout so they have to constantly pedals. i guess thats why they grain more connected- they are always contained by control of the bike. i dont think they be meant for bumpy put money on roads anyway.

Question:I'm shopping for a road/road-like bike (road "comfort" and cyclocross bikes are in consideration) surrounded by the $1,000 range, most promising to come from one of the the big companies like Cannondale, Specialized, Trek, Jamis, etc. (I hold several nice locally owned and managed shops to choose from, so I'm covered there). I'd similar to to know - aside from the bike itself - who are the better companies - companies I can feel apt about doing business next to? Who behaves responsibly from a worldwide, people, environmental, community, etc. perspective... Of the big maker, whom is the "least evil"? (While I'd consider smaller maker - I know *nothing* about that space and I call for to be able to purchase/have it serviced within the Twin Cities, MN area...)

Natural lighting, total rubbish recylcling... It was truly amazing.
