How do you put a sticker on a curved suface similar to a helmet?

Answers:

There are a couple of ways..

If the sticker is plastic, warm it VERY slightly beside a hair dryer as you put it on. Be watchful...the heat may also create the sticker to wrinkle.

For paper or plastic stickers, you can cut "relief" into the sticker- next to scissors, make cuts from respectively corner towards the very center of the sticker, allowing in the region of 1/2" in the center that isn't cut. Take the finance off, after apply, starting at the center and smoothing out each "section", one at a time. You'll spy that it will overlap where you made the cuts and sometimes will kind the applique look a little funky.
Heat up the sticker and surface near a hair dryer. Not so much that the sticker warp, just carry it warm and pliable.

Spray a mild soap solution on the surface (I hear that alcohol also works) so you can position the sticker. Put the sticker on starting surrounded by the center and working outward to smooth down any potential wrinkles, and squeezing out as much fluid as possible. You should be able to move the decal slightly to take it just right (if that's important).

Once the sticker is within place, blot around it with a broadsheet towel to remove any extra moisture. Allow the decal to set up for a while, and you're good to stir.
start at one side of the sticker and press it on slowly smoothing out any wrinkles as you go.

What bike should I buy?

Question:I want to buy a bicycle to ride to work each afternoon (abou 2.5 miles on way). Just wondering if anyone knows a correct bike?

P.S. I don't plan to hemorrhage money out of my *** either.
Answers:

Take a look at commuter/fitness bikes. These are unanimously relatively inexpensive bikes which are a hybrid between mountain and road bikes. They're designed to be comfortable. I use an older Specialized Sport, and I ride to work most adjectives summer. You may be able to procure one used if you don't want to spend a lot of money.

Also, carry a good set of lights (front and back) and reflector. Even if you don't intend to be riding after pitch-black, you really don't want to be stuck without it. You want cars to know how to see you. You may also want to look at getting a rack and some pannier bags to tie your stuff to your bike instead of wearing a backpack. I enjoy a nice padded bike shoulder bag for my laptop.
trek
For this type of riding, a used hardtail mountain bike might fit the bill. A two-year old used bike will flog for about partially of the cost of a new one. Change the knobby tires to street slicks (about $15) and you're accurate to go. Of course a used hybrid would work as ably. Add a rack if you need to, and some blinky lights front and posterior.

Don't get too hung up on brands. All of the through brands (Trek, Cannondale, Giant, KHS, Fuji) make clad bikes with like components with indistinguishable price ranges.
if you are looking for a deal on a bike and aren't concerned next to weight too much i would recommend checking out a box store (target) or a sports speciality store approaching Dick's Sporting Goods. both will have bikes contained by the $250 range which will work fine as a commuter.

your local bike shop will also own bikes in that straightforward price range $300 which will probably be a better bet though. the frame materials will be duplicate between the two locations but things like the bike's headset and bottom bracket are mostly of better quality at your local shop. the element comes from a higher deportment count, more alloy, less high-ten steel.

How would a cyclist benefit from taking Steroids?

Question:The Use of Steroids creates big, bulky muscles to a person's body, but does nothing contained by terms of increasing an athletes fortitude. I don't understand why Landis would use steroids within the first place, because extra muscle mass would make supply to more weight, which would trademark him slower in the mountains. That's why I suggest he's innocent of taking some kind of testosterone boasting product. Now EPO is a different story, but he is self suspected of having taken that.
Answers:

Steroids can in fact harm your enactment by enlarging your heart muscles so that they might fall short under intense excercise. Most cyclists would to some extent use stimulants like ephedrine, or red blood cell boosters similar to rohypnol to increase their number of red blood cells.

But testosterone, would be too trouble-free to detect, and if he would be caught like that, he must be an incompetent doper, or he's mortal framed by the French media. He is American after adjectives.
It makes your legs stronger so you don't enjoy to use as much energy within your legs. :)
hmmm by enlarging muscles? making you heavier? slower? smaller amount endurance ? sounds approaching a really bad thought for a pro cyclist to take testosterone doesn't it.? I detestation the french, if it weren't for the US, they would be speaking German now, which I don`t know wouldn't be such a bad entry, we wouldn't have to listen to the whiny french press.
