What is the level of a Motobecane or Gary Fisher bike? Also, any suggestions if these are poor choices?

Motobecane is a brand that's been surrounded by decline for awhile now. In the 70s, they be high-end. Today, they're only found contained by third-tier shops or mail proclaim wherehouses.
Fisher is good stuff. Lots of explosion for the buck since they can take pre-eminence of parent company Trek's buying power. Their geometry is different from Trek, though. And they give their bikes TRUE names instead of the sterile Trek numbering system. That's not really critical...just a pet peeve!
Gary Fisher is a really devout brand, but slightly expensive. He is part of Trek, so you may want to look at some Trek bikes also. I know nil about Motobecane immediately. They used to sell some excellent road bikes within the 70's and 80's. But I haven't seen any of their bikes since illustrious school.
Both are virtuous bike brands. Gary Fisher is one of the Trek companies (along with Trek, Klein, Bontrager, Icon). Today's Motobecane is a Chinese-manufactured bike that uses the brand (Chinese assembly does not mean low feature, many high-ranking end bikes are of Chinese origin). The productive French Motobecane sold their brand to a manufacturing company within China. Most if not adjectives Gary Fishers are also Chinese made but made to their GF's specifications.
Both are good brands. I have a friend with a tentative Motobecane and it was nice.
I construe all manufacturer have big and low end models. I wouldn't ask the salesman which is which, though.
Look at what stratum of components are on it and decide what frame things is right for you. It seems that adjectives bikes have pretty mid height wheels, so if you're a serious racer, you'll probably want an extra set anyway.

both are well-mannered bikes.. the motobecane is less expensive, but it is still a virtuous entry-level bike.. i used to have one a couple of years ago, and I never have any problems.. i sold it because i was poisoned by marketing, and bought a $2,500 frame-only Moser Bike, because i looked-for to look "pro"
Gary Fisher does make one hell of a bike. I enjoy a friend that has a Gary Fisher frozen tail and he has taken it to Whiteface Mountain downhilling beside it many times and the bike is still vastly solid.

I'd strongly suggest against using them! As already mentioned the physical affects a in previous answer, of shrinking of the testies, and potentially growing man *. It may also smash up your kidneys and liver.
As they are most likely coming from another country, who know what the quality is resembling, and what they have be mixed with.
I suggest if you aren't already, try decriminalized muscle builders and energy drinks to inherently improve presentation.

Only candy-(a)sses need to use anything except willpower to ride a bike!
If you cant do it yourself the stop because using that * is cheating. Not only to other bikers but to yourself. You will never know a true potential if you hold to cheat to improve your concert.
You should try using Clorox. Drink 5 cups of it. It has impossible to tell apart affect as steroids. Don't worry if you be aware of like crap at first...that's of late the steroids taking affect.you'll feel great after! And strong!
