Uggla and Ichiro trade?
for Sizemore and Brandon Phillips...I get Uggla and Ichiro. Shoud i do it?
Answers: keep hold of sizemore. trade phillips for ichiro.
I wouldn't do it. I would keep Sizemore and Phillips. Phillips is one of the best 2B's surrounded by the league other than Chase Utley. Phillips is a pious 5x5 player and Uggla isn't. Depends on what the stats of the league are.
If its the usual 5 categories I would rob Sizemore and Phillips. I think that Sizemore have more upside than Ichiro and will produce more across each of the 5 stats (Ichiro really single produces legitimately in 3 categories). And Phillips have shown us that he is deserving of a top 2 2b ranking.
I would not do it. Uggla's average is going to drag on you and he strikes out too much. Ichiro is great for average but his stolen base totals are on the way out and he doesn't hit for power, and his run totals are going to kepp dropping as Seattle has no offense. Phillips is a suitable 5 tooler and Sizemore, who will hit for some power, steal some bags, drive contained by some runs, etc., and is only going to receive better (he's already good). Stay put. Sorry , I am still playing hockey.

Sizemore and Ichiro virtually equal eachother out, in that sizemore puts up more power, and ichiro puts up a highly developed average and SB. Uggla for Phillips? Naw, you can't pull that trigger unless you are getting someone even better than Ichiro surrounded by the package.
Uggla will probably take you more power than will Phillips, but Phillips will put up a higher average, more runs, RBI's, AVG, and OBP.
Sizemore+Phillips=roughly same number of SB, so thats more or less even, as will be average and OBP.
Where this trade isn't so even is in the reality that you are losing probably 15-20 HR, not to mention some runs, and some RBI's, in this concordat.
Soooo it depends on what the format of your league is. If there is no OBP, I would tender it much closer consideration than I would if OBP is a stat in your league.
