solid
i wish i could marry you for such familiarity of the game
Weak on pitching and outfield. Stout on the infield. No Closers?
6/10 your OF is lousy. Pitching is clothed. Try to trade for Nick Markakis from the O's.
Wow your line-up is a mix bag your solid at 1st, short, and your pitching staff. One point I would improve on is bonds and jennings both are honourable at time but if you can find a better player stat wise afterwards go after them. Try a multi-player trade, contained by the trade put Jennings and Sullivan up for a good starting picher. Also budge after a closer. Otherwise, a very apposite line-up Good luck this season
Your infield is stellar. After that you reached a couple of times. Bonds? Sullivan? Also where on earth is the relief pitching? Im assuming you are surrounded by an 8 team league since you own pujols, utley, and jeter. Also, Zach Day? Ive heard of Zach Duke but afterwards again what does a Pirates fan know?
It's Ok until you gain to Sullivan, Day and Clemens. A back up player and 2 guys who aren't playing. Bonds take self appointed days off. And Piazza plays for Oakland.
You are going to obligation some more guys.
the BEST team i own ever seen!
Great commission!
TRADE Help!?
Question:Would you give up A-Rod, Buehrle, and Jenks for Crawford, Aramis Ramirez, Papelbon, Smoltz, and Hamels? I own A-Rod,Buehrle, and Jenks.Would you accept or reject?
Answers:
You bestow up one stud and a decent closer plus a pitcher that if you look at his numbers former times 2 years realize isnt a good imagination option (forget the no-no...nice but facts are facts and he have struggled). In return you get:
Ramirez..okay he isnt ARod but he is a top 3 or 4 3rd baseman on a loaded licentious team, numbers wont suffer!
Crawford.top 10 pretend stud who has better his numbers across the board every year and should improve the power this season to step with 60-70 steals
Papelbon...dominant closer on a exceptionally good squad, better than Jenks
Smoltz...not even close between him and Buehrle, way more K's, better ERA and Whip
Hamels...did you detain the 14 K performance the other daylight, kid is electric and will easily draw from you 220 Ks and very moral ERA and WHIP, fantasy stud within the making!
So you give up 1 monster and 2 average guys for 1 elite outfielder, a top 3 3rd sacker, a dominant closer and 2 top starters.what are you waiting for? Accept the operation, ARod is great but this guy is giving you a roster that will put you at the top of your league!
Reject, A-Rod is probably gonnna get MVP this year, But if you could replace him afterwards go for it.
Yes but don't pass up a -rod u don't need Crawford or smoltz in that not worth a-rod this season with 13 homers contained by 16 games.
If I get A-Rod, OH YEAH
Do not formulate that trade, you probably will have to drop those from your team, A-rod will be this season ryan howard hes going to hit 50+ home runs and hit 130 + RBI's. Dont forget the lineup hes in, the yankees will hit him within also so he will score a ton of runs. And for the other two surrounded by the trade Jenks and Buehrle are great pitchers so dont trade them either.
Accept!
Even though you're giving up Arod, he will cool stale eventually, and you're getting bucket-loads in return. You're getting Papelbon for Jenks, which is a huge upgrade. Still getting Aramis Ramirez to replace at 3B, plus Carl Crawford! Then Smoltz for Beuhrle, he will never pitch another no-no surrounded by his career, lol.. walk for it!
G'Luck
No way a rods the best so far
Should I find Mike Pelfrey and drop Shealy or should I keep on until the 15th when he comes up to the MLB?
Question:I have Lyle Overbay and Adam A.Laroche as my backup 1B to Ryan Howard.Shealy and Blalock are my Reserves and I hold no pitching backup. My pitchers are C.Zambrano,Ervin Santana,Glavine,Igawa,Kazmir,M... & Anibal Sanchez
Answers:
I would wait to see how Pelfrey does contained by his first start or two... I'm not sold on his abilities at this point and seeing as how he get ripped his last outing of Spring training - I could see him spending much of the year contained by the minors as he may not be ready to frontage major league hitting however... Shealy should have a nice season this year and I would prefer him over Overbay intuitively...
Pelfrey has unlimited potential this year. He's get talent, and he'll be playing for one of the best teams contained by baseball. I'd definitely pick him up and drop Shealy. I close to how one columnist put it.Pelfrey has a occasion to be this year's Justin Verlander.the rookie that comes out of nowhere and wins a ton of games.
If you didn't want to drop Shealy, I wouldn't verbs about departure with Igawa any.
wait till the 15th
Should I trade Beltran, Helton, and Wickman, for Street, David Ortiz, Josh Willingham, and Zach Duke?
Answers:
no, ur good
minus seeing your team, its concrete to say. but i believe i would look at it this way.
ortiz > beltran
street > wickman
willingham+duke >/= helton
Big buy and sell so there is deeply to evaluate here.
Street Wickman
Ortiz Helton
Willingham Beltran
Duke **EMPTY**
part 1 - Street vs. Wickman Street wasn't great end year, but the kid is very skilled. Wickman is really aging. On a ten-point scale, Street 6.5, Wickman 3.5
piece 2 - Ortiz vs. Helton Ortiz is a top-10 player. Helton underachieved last year, but is still hopeful and plays in Colorado. Not as big a disparity as one would have an idea that. Ortiz 6, Helton 4
part 3 - Willingham vs. Beltran Beltran is biddable. Willingham may be in for a breakout year, but not comparatively Beltran yet. Beltran 7, Willingham 3
member 4 - Duke vs. EMPTY Duke was insipid last year, but as shown by two years ago he have the potential for greatness. Your opposition will pick someone up, but I'll grant Zach the benefit of the doubt. Duke 7.5, EMPTY 2.5
You - 23 pts Opponent - 17 pts
Take the deal. I right to be heard this is a clear cut improvement.
Its pretty close. I instinctively would not do it because of Helton being the abandoned card (he could have a really dutiful season) I would probobly get a better OF later Josh Willingham in the business deal and it could be fair.
yes
obviously
I hope this is a rhetorical question... the answer is demonstrably YES
That is too many players to look at minus knowing the rest of the team.
But usually first round draft picks attain moved because of bad draft choices that follow. If you planned your troop around the Beltran draft then accumulation Ortiz may open up holes that you weren't planning on and didn't draft for.
