Fantasy Sports Questions and Answers

Whats wrong next to the yahoo baseball stat tracker? Its free till the 15th i thought?

Question:Does yahoo have lots of problems near the tracker?
Thanks
Answers:

Yahoo! is currently having a problem next to updating all the baseball stats and getting stat tracker to work properly... it will markedly be fixed in another afternoon or so...
Aside from the problems that Yahoo is having within re-loading/updating Stattracker/Gamechannel right now (4/7/06, 3PM), Stattracker is still working for me. Just keep hold of closing/reopening the window until they fix the problem.

18. (206) Craig Biggio 2B
19. (227) Gary Matthews Jr. OF
20. (230) Brandon Inge 3B
21. (251) Paul Lo Duca C
If I have my dream team for Fantasy Baseball, it would hold to go approaching this (Based on Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball):

C Brian McCann
1B Albert Pujols
2B Robinson Cano
SS Jimmy Rollins
3B Miguel Cabrera
OF Carl Crawford
OF Grady Sizemore
OF Jason Bay
U Ryan Howard
BN Adrian Gonzalez
BN Ryan Zimmerman

SP Johan Santana
SP Brandon Webb
RP Francisco Rodriguez
RP Huston Street
P Jake Peavy
P Carlos Zambrano
P Chad Cordero
BN Daisuke Matsuzaka
BN Dan Haren
BN Scott Kazmir

My logic of a dream fantasy squad is to have a troop under the age of 30 while they still own talent left in the past they fade away and trying not to overspent, but since this is a dream squad, this is what I can build.
C- Joe Mauer
1B- Albert Pujols
2B- Chase Utley
3B- David Wright
SS- Jose Reyes
OF- Alfons Soriano
OF- Jason Bay
OF- Carlos Beltran
Util- Ryan Howard

SP- Barry Zito
SP- Carlos Zambrano
RP- Mariano Rivera
RP- Trevor Hoffman
P- Roy Halladay
P- Johan Santana
P- Joe Nathan

Fanasty baseball abet! To become a righteous player?

Question:Who should I draft? Head to head or rotisserie? more pitchers than batter? Questions like those. What is a pious first pic? Which players should I draft in my first 5 rounds?
Answers:

It depends if you're contained by a mixed league or a specific league.

For me in a mixed league I give somebody a lift Pujols number 1. NL only also Pujols, AL solitary I take A-Rod but Santana and Crawford aren't far down.

I prefer to do roto leagues, it's much easier to plan for and you're not going to capture f*cked by Barry Bonds cause he settled to steal a base for the other guy!

For me within the 1st 5 rounds I typically go after the best player available within the first 4 rounds, but if it comes down to a 3b and an outfielder, I'm grabbing the outfielder. That position is not that strong. Consider that respectively team requirements at least 3 outfielders. If you snatch 3 of the top 10 outfielder, then you will enjoy the best outfield in the league. The CI spots are vastly deep.
Pitching is enormously deep so I tend to dawdle on that.
In the 5th round I go after the best big K closer available. So a guy close to BJ Ryan for example.

So here is an example of how your draft should/might go.

1st- Crawford/ Guerrero
2nd- Sizemore
3rd- Holliday/ Suzuki
4th- Atkins/ A. Ramirez
5th- BJ Ryan

This is adjectives based on how my drafts this year own gone. But I wouldn't be surpised if some of those guys are gone earlier after they should be based on their hot starts.
Most daydream drafts rank the players surrounded by a pretty logical order to who is best. Albert Pujols is going as a first pick contained by pretty much every league across the country, and he would be a good bet for your first pick. Usually a accurate strategy is to get a few top distasteful players in the first 2-3 rounds, and next pick up the best pitcher you can. From that point on its up to you. The people who win league are the ones who stay on top of updating their rosters on a daily basis, and dropping slumping players, and picking up hot players mid-season. That can make adjectives the difference. See what stats you are consistently getting beat on, and pick up a player that will back that stat. Good Luck!
first time? it's personal preference between Roto or H2H, Roto is simply stats all season, H2H go weekly, i think Roto is harder to win myself.
Generally, hitters are more consistent year to year, at hand are always pitchers who come out of nowhere, and biddable ones that fall rotten the map. So take more hitters hasty, and more overall. Pujols is the consensus no. 1 pick, Jose Reyes, Santana, Soriano are all worthy too. Find a ranking list somewhere on the internet for your draft to compare to Yahoo's rankings.
I hold come to like H2H better, it keep you interested during the year. I would definitely draft more pitchers than batter. in most of my league i have a maximum of 1-2 bench hitters. Depending what pick you own in the first round- early= most relatives take Pujols, but reyes will hold a breakout year .320/75 sb's/130 runs/25 hr's/95 rbis/+210 hits, middle first round-could take howard/Johan santana, belated first round-carl crawford definitely if hes at hand.
2nd round-if no OF taken- go for Vlad if hes in that, if not pilfer Carpenter,
3rd round- take Hafner, individual risk is he only plays at Util.
4th round- if you didnt carry reyes, try for hanley ramirez if hes still there-you'd be lucky if he is
5th round- go beside another solid pitcher, Francisco Rodriguez
