Some is poor starts, and some is poor players, though you also enjoy some talent. First of all USE your dl spot and put Cliff Lee within. Second drop Moyer from your pitching staff. Igawa is also a guy vwho could be dropped depending on what's out there. As for potential SP pickups, Greinke and Tom Gorzelanny are a couple. If you're really lucky someone approaching Daniel Cabrera or maybe even David Bush is out near. With the drop of Moyer and putting Lee on the DL you open spots to make the addition of two pitchers. Gagne is back. enjoy him in here frequently and maybe pick up Jason Frasor Toronto's current closer. As for your offense, Sexson isn't worthless, put he can hurt your average. Pick up Adrian Gonzalez if available and if not Connor Jackson isn't unpromising. Don't just drop Sexson however. I'd drop Beltre to bring either of them. Sheffield and Griffey are both infirm, and you can move either only just on their name convenience for say a Delmon Young or Nick Markakis I'd do it. Since you hold Jeter, Cabrera is expendable if you need to drop someone. I brand of like Ty wigginton because you can use him pretty much every position and he's a clad offensive player. B.J. Upton is another player you could drop Cabrera for. All In all your squad is better than last place, so be lenient make those small moves and you should increase.

I think you inevitability to trade one of your starting batters for a first-tier SP.
Then, swarm your "okay" SP slots each week near two-starters for that week. Sub alot.

You hold no first basemen. Richie Sexson is getting old, and have really underwhelmed with the Mariners (like only about every free agent they've signed). Also, Griffey Jr. is getting weak, will injure himself, and isn't back from a broken wrist. Gary Sheffield should verbs to produce once he gets used to DH'ing. I'm sure you can find some sucker who will transport Griffey just base on his name (there is other an idiot manager within every league, he's the guy with Barry Bonds) and Sexson, and endow with you a better first baseman. Then put Sheffield in your lineup near the new guy and Presto! Instant restructuring.

Don't listen to that idiot about Sexson. Sexson is still a dang pious ball player. Get rid of Gagne. He is never going to be well enough for a adjectives year. Put Lee on your DL and add a pitcher. Get rid of Moyer he is surrounded by a home run ball park. You can pick up a better player next him on waivers. You can trash beltre if you want or trade him since you have Wright at 3rd. You can any trade Jeter or Cabrera, don't really need both of them. Your pitching staff isn't horrible. K-Rod will attain you a ton os saves. Otsuaka will bring back you some. Its a pretty fair squad. You won't stay in second place. Also just relax since its just been 2 weeks. Give your troop some time.

The pitching isn't THAT desperate... I'd go a different direction, though.
You can other upgrade your SP in a couple of months when some of the fresh name get call up. One thing within your favor right NOW is a greater than normal level of turnover in the closer position. There are deeply of guys getting the call immediately with low WHIP, low ERA, and a clad K/9. I'm willing to bet within is at least two or three brand up to date closers unclaimed in your league.
Now --- snatch them up, and see who is losing out. For instance, if you grasp Dan Wheeler, find out who had Brad Lidge. You might know how to leverage a great deal for a better SP or a clad bat.
As to your hitting - you're a little stuck. Sheffield and Griffey are contained by the twilight, Pierre and Phillips are WAY slow out of the box this year, and Sexson is... well... Sexson. He's too biddable to drop, and not good ample to trade away. He's a vampire at 1B. (He really didn't start producing until June of last year, for what it is worth, hitting .205 surrounded by April and May.)
Here's what I would do: See if Nick Johnson and Dmitri Young are available. Nick is on the DL, so here's how to play it:
1) Drop Sexson
2) Grab Johnson, then stash to the DL
3) Grab Dmitri Young.
Now -- the likelihood are that Young might well suck coil in a month or two - which isn't any worse than what you own now. If he get THAT bad, by later you'll know more about Nick's providence.
It's a little put money on, with low downside and great upside.

2B - Brandon Philips is a solid 2B i simply hope u didnt overpay for him
3B David Wright is a great player lots of depth at 3B u can oversell him in a trade for a problem position n a appropriate 3B
SS - Derek is another solid player who u can oversell to ur yankee fan surrounded by the league n get a virtuous SS n a little back elsewhere
OF - torii is solid juan pierre is very hurriedly n griffey jr is injury prone nuf sed

otsuka will go and get closes if he has the oppurtunity but u shud try to trade him for better nouns or SP try to show off his #of save last season fairly than the oppurtunities hell get this season

How do you play daydream basketball?

Answers:
First, you start like any other squad, doing all the usual stuff. The subsequent registration is mid-season unless you play salary bonnet on another site, which is the same as take-home pay cap football. Next you will be confronted beside two league choices rotisserie(commonly abbreviated roto) and head to boss leagues.
Rotisserie league have an assigned group of category which you compete in, trying to capture the most of that throughout the season. Points are given out based on how several teams yours beat in hard to please category over the season (So if you have more assists than 6 team you get 6 points).
Head to skipper is exactly like it sounds. You facade another team every week and isn't dependent on the other weeks. Again, you try to bring more of a given category than the other guy. Wins and losses are counted by category, not by overall (so if you win FG%, PTS, Stls, Blks, TOs, and Rebs but lose FT%, 3 pointers, and Asts, you would come out of that week 6-3). At the end of the season the top 6 team (depending on league settings) go to the playoffs and the knockout is determined that way.
You draft a roster depending on the league settings (yahoo evasion is PG, SG, any guard, SF, PF, any forward, 2 C, and 2 Util(anything you want)). This can vary greatly depending on your league though.
You can't anymore regestration is over but I conjecture if you come back contained by the middle of the season you can sign up again
You may have to keep on until mid-season to register. Yahoo has free games that you can play.
Usually, you sign up and any you choose a league or a league is chosen for you. After the league is chosen you participate within a draft (a live one where you pick your players, or a an automated one where on earth players are chosen for you). You'll have a secure number of players for each position (PG, SG, SF, F, PF C and utility players). You usually hold to set your lineups for every afternoon of the NBA season. Scoring depends on whether you're doing rotisserie or head to principal. Rotisserie gives you point for man the tops in a singular area (10 point for most assists etc.) Head to Head you tally up points within several different areas and try to beat out your antagonist.
