Answers:
I would certainly pick up Clemens presently while he is still available. It looks like he is coming rear legs and if so is still one of the top pitchers in baseball.
Olsen is a really streaky pitcher. One outing he is very polite while the next outing he kill your fantasy troop. Also I would consider dropping Biggio as his fantasy meaning is greatly diminishing as he is getting up in years.
i would drop mussina fairly than olsen
Clemens hasn't made any decisions on the other hand ... and he's a year older. Who know what he'll do if/when he comes back? At this point adjectives he's going to do is take up a roster spot.
I reason you're pitching is good right very soon that you don't need him.
Plus, he'll probably sit on waivers for a while longer.
I'd look for other option.
I would see if you could deal Furcal and Biggio for one guy, create a roster spot and shift from there.
With Rollins contained by your lineup, when are you ever using Furcal, only on past its sell-by date days?
Yovani Gallardo or Ryan Braun?
Question:So I've decided to spend my top waiver priority to return with one of these two guys. I have desires in both areas.
Ryan Braun would progress towards replacing the terrible Alex Gordon/Andy LaRoche combo at 3B. My offense is VERY solid outside of 3B, especially once Mauer get off the DL.
Gallardo would hopefully bolster a somewhat questionable pitching staff that is one and only surviving on Penny's breakout year. Zito and Willis are dragging me down hard. Bedard is starting to come around, and Beckett is injured. Others are Hendrickson, Blanton, and Owings.
So I obligation help within both areas. Who do I target first for my waivers?
Answers:
I am in a super competitve league in recent times like you and those guys will not clear waivers. Guys surrounded by my leagues are already waiting to pounce on 19 yr outmoded prospects. Having said that the ebst way to build you r squad is through hitting. Pitchers and especially young pitchers are prone to injuries that don't affect position players.
I too am good my #1 waiver priority for ryan bruan although I am somewhat tempted by Joey Votto who should clear waivers contained by a few days.
I traded away Garrett Atkins because I beleived in the skill of ryan braun and the brewers as an organazation surrounded by developing minor league talent. The brewers don't have profoundly of options (a) 3rd foundation and braun would be a definite upgrade whenever he get the call up.
Recent brewer prospects include billy foyer, prince fielder, rickie weeks and jj hardy. Ryan Braun is probaly the best of the bunch.
I have NO concept who they are.
Both of these guys are going to clear waivers more than likely, later you can just pick them up as a free agent and recover your waiver priority. Save that waiver for when someone drops a great player.
Are you sure you want to waste your waiver priority on them? They will most potential be there if you dawdle until they are off the waivers. Anyway, I would procure Yovani Gallardo because he is needed severely. (what it sounds like) Andy Laroche is going to heat up. Trust the Fantasy Baseball Experts. (thats what they said) On their video, they said he should be a hot pickup. So don't worry just about getting Ryan Braun yet. Although he is a flawless hitter and will help the Brew Crew, you own solid offense and need to work on pitching. Andy Laroche will hopefully come through for you. Get Gallardo.
Honestly, contained by your case, you may be overreacting a bit to Gordon's demise so far. He is starting to finally come on and the one thing that every single critic out here agrees on is that he is a can't miss talent. LaRoche is not really getting the green light anymore contained by L.A. so why are you holding onto him right now? You can other watch him during the season to see if he can take his hitting going, but unfortunately, that be the knock on him in the first place. He freshly does not seem in position right now. I own no idea what you are discussion about when referring to Bedard "starting to come around." He have been SOLID for my troop of studs which include Johan, King Felix, Shields, Bedard, Arroyo, Capuano, and Lincecum. Hendrickson, do you mean Mark Hendrickson? Uhh, travel get someone else please. I would plainly use the waiver on Gallardo to drop Hendrickson, assuming you cannot find any other talent on the wire. Remember that Gallard have no timetable at all for starting, so you call for to realize that grabbing him does zilch for your team right presently, whereas Braun is starting TODAY! You really should look to replace pitchers with element waiver wire talent approaching Gaudin, Carmona, Bonderman(off the DL), Hughes(who should be back subsequent week), etc. There is ALWAYS pitching talent out there if you look at the numbers. Try to find guys beside WHIP close to 1.00 and a strikeout rate of about 7 or 8 per team game. If you can find guys with stats that run around that, regardless of W/L record(because that is to say determined a lot by team's offense), you can really walk a long way. Zito is worthy with WHIP but his K's are down significantly. Willis have been troubled for two years in a minute. Beckett was aflame, and surely looks to be the ace on your staff. So to finally answer your question, I would see if I could tag on some good pitching first from waivers until that time thinking about Gallardo. Braun is your best bet to see results right away. Gordon is a warden, but LaRoche is expendable. By the way, another 3B to look at might be Kevin Kouzmanoff. He is heat up and could help you next to the LaRoche issue.
After reading your addendum nearly your league being wide and serious, if it were me afterwards, I would definitely help yourself to Braun. You tend to always pickup hitters first. They play everyday, while pitching may sustain you twice a week at the most.
As far as I know, Gallardo has not be promoted to the majors yet, while Ryan Braun have. That being said, if one of those guys does not clear waivers, it will probably by Braun. You might be overestimating the likeylhood that ethnic group will pick up on these players, I was competent to get Tim Lincecum surrounded by a competitive league after it was already announced he would connect the Giants rotation.
Should I do this trade?
Question:Bonderman, Bay for Pujols, I think I should but I would approaching to hear what you think.
Answers:
Ya I muse so, the guy who you are doing this trade with is a moron. Pujols= battle
Are you getting Pujols or trading him?
If your getting him, do it...if your trading him, DON'T!!!
Absolutely. Bonderman is probably replaceable with a free agent and Pujols > Bay.
ok First bad bonderman and Bay are not even top three rounders. Bonderman will get you what k's and a glorious era and low wins. Then creek will get you what 30 hrs and 100 rbis
Pujols is 1st or 2nd pick of the draft
This trade would be the steal of the season if your getting pujols... pujolls will be top 5 contained by almost every catergory other then stolen basis.
"Pull the trigger for Pujols"
if you get pujols, do it, and sure nearby are some good pitchers vanished in the FA. or try to achieve from them in indistinguishable trade a pitcher with great expectations resembling hamels, garza, ect.., not with right number in 2006, but yes next to good expectations for 2007, push this trade a 2x2 a trade, and you are going to bring back the best part.
I be involve in a similar trade, I capture R. Howard and D. young, and pass to him Zito and Bay
Yes, Bay is way overrated and Bonderman is a Sophmore. STAY AWAY FROM SOPHMORES!!
If you are getting Pujols -
You are out of time, don't consent to him reconsider - adopt the trade NOW!
yea, if you are getting pujols you must do it.
The Pujols side makes out similar to a bandit in attendance. Bonderman and Bay are good, but Pujols is on a complete other plane by himself. Pitchers like Bonderman are around elsewhere, and Bay has severely dropped sour from his 2005 performance that lead to his being rate so highly. He doesn't run as much and his average tailed rotten. He's coasting on past nouns.
If you're giving up Pujols...well, basically don't. Don't.
If u get Pujols 4 that little,u don't stipulation anyone's help. Do that asap. If the other squad does that trade,no playoffs 4 him
The wording suggests you are the person who's trading away Pujols, right? I wouldn't even consider that do business.
Need Trade Help! Suggestions??
Question:I have:
-Gary Sheffield
-Paul Konerko
-Carlos Delgado
I single need one of them at first underpinning and I am full with Glaus at UTIL.
Any trade suggestions? I would resembling to keep Sheffield over the other two guys because he is finally coming around. I enjoy great hitters and I am in first place contained by my league. The only authentic need is pitching...
Who would you recommend that I trade for?
I obligation the best SP possible that I can get from the guys i enjoy.
And I do not need any more closers as I hold four.
Thanks! and recommendations are nifty!
Answers:
So your question is, what is the best pitching for your buck when trading Delgado & Konerko, correct?
Okay...
Starting Pitchers:
Josh Beckett BOS
Tim Hudson ATL
Matt Cain SF
Dan Haren OAK
C.C. Sabathia CLE
Diasuke Matsuzaka BOS
Scott Kazmir TB
Those would be your prime option to fish for when using Delgado & Konerko as bait.
good luck!?!
I would move Glaus and Delgado, and hold on to Konerko and Sheff. Both will produce this year and have little to no trade good point because of their start.
I actually jsut picked Konerko past its sell-by date waivers in a league I dont reward much attention to when I noticed somoene dropped him.
Silly owners.
I agree next to the last guy...trade Delgado for a Matt Cain, Scott Kazmir type pitcher...gain some Ks and a solid ERA
If you have great hitters, consequently you can probably stand to part next to Delgado, who has the best appeal right now. However, you could also cause the argument to not do anything, if you are in first place. I other worry something like shaking the boat when in first.
I guess if you own one or two of these guys stuck on your bench, though, it would be safe to move them.
Simple answer - put Sheff surrounded by the OF, Delgado & Konerko at 1B & UTIL. Keep them all.
dump delgado he is doing unpromising sheffield will come around
