Fantasy Sports Questions and Answers
I own no model how this is possible but...?
Question:I am in a 10 troop ESPN league that just isnt fair-minded. The other owners in this league hold to be comepletely clueless to the rest of the world.
My team:
C - Brian McCann
1B - Prince Feilder
2B - Robinson Cano
3b - David Wright
SS - Jimmy Rollins
OF - Carl Crawford
OF - Matt Holliday
OF - Delmon Young
UTIL - Akinori Iwamura
BN - Alex Gordon
SP - Ben Sheets, Brett Myers, FElix Hernandez, Scott Kazmir, Cole Hamels, Ervin Santanna, Chris Capuano
RP - Joe Nathan, Chris Ray, Jose Valverde
Now, these players are adjectives available on waivers.
Conor Jackson, Ty Wigginton, Orlando Hudson, Aaron Hill, Chris Burke, Morgan Ensberg, Mark Teahen, Garret Anderson, Shannon Stewart, David DeJesus, Austin Kearns, Reed Johnson, Chris Duffy, Dave Roberts, Ken Griffey Jr, Ryan Church, Carlos Quentin, Chris B Young, Danie Cabrera, Ian Snell, Solomon Torres, Joe Borowski, Isringhausen, Al Reyes, Ryan Dempster, Joel Zumaya, and more.
Should I make any moves?
Answers:
To be honest, I would run Dempster over Valverde long term. Lou Piniella know how to get within Dempster's head surrounded by a good path. He goes out after a batter, looks Dempster contained by the eye, tells him to throw f'in strikes, and he does it. Valverde hasn't be able to hold that undertaking for a few years now.
If you quality it's necessary to pass 7 SP, so be it, but I might let my finishing choice go, or Alex Gordon who is struggling, and pick up Carlos Quentin. Look at his numbers from final year, he offers power and speed, and I construe if you wait until he is activate on Tuesday, you may be too late. He seem to be more equipped for the majors than Gordon at this time. And I also own Gordon, so I'm not just dissing him. But you involve some OF insurance in defence Delmon Young isn't really ready to lift off this year. And you already enjoy Iwamura to back up at 3B within case of injury.
Lastly, I close to Ian Snell - he is really showing his stuff after a strong 2nd half final year. Ervin Santana only pitches resourcefully at home - check last year's splits. I realize the Angels are better than the Pirates, but.. Snell could turn into this year's Verlander. And hold on to an eye on Teahen - he'll heat up and will qualify at 3B/OF, if he doesn't already. He may closing up more valuable than Iwamura.
Drop Iwamura and pick up Orlando Hudson
Your troop is not extremely strong but it's a solid team. Drop Gordon because he isn't needed beside Wright and Iwamura. You can pick up Torres after that to give you 4 closers and a well brought-up hold on the pitching categories. Borowski is another closer I would look at. Izzy and Dempster are too shaky.

Do you have a sneaking suspicion that this is a smart a story baseball move?
Question:He offered me Dye and Howie Kendrick for Zambrano and Pettite. I didn't think that be fair. So I switched it to Dye for Ordonez and Pettite. Was I right contained by not accepting it and do you think it is objective now!
Answers:
yes u be right not accepting the trade. it was a rip stale.
You were right contained by not accepting it. I believe the trade you just mentioned is celebration, but only if Pettite have a strong season this year. I wouldn't have considered necessary to trade Carlos Zambarano. Petitte had an off-year final year, but I believe that if he has a worthy season like he talented of, it will be a fair trade. Whether the other owner accept the trade or not will depend on whether or not the owner thinks Pettite will bounce put money on and have a solid season subsequent year.
that was a rip sour good move.
it wasnt f¨ēte and i dont think what you sent him be fair any. dont expect that trade to go through.
yes and no
no because Ordonez get 10 times more productive when Sheffield joined that lineup.
it be good i regard
\I like ORDONEZ
The merely thing is if you already hold a good pitching staff and OF and 2B
You be right not accepting the first offer. Never do unless its totally one sided for you. First offer are almost always low. Keeping Zambrano be a good point. He's pitching for a contract this year. Getting Dye is good but I devise he had his occupation year last year. He'll be better than Ordonez though and if you own enough pitching to cover the loss of Pettite than correct for you.
Fantasy Baseball sound out?
Question:I have Roger Clemons on my squad. Should I keep him, and lurk to see if he is going to play, or pick up some new talent up to that time it's all taken?
Answers:
If you are surrounded by a H2H league, keep him. All you own to do is make the playoffs, and consequently you'll be ecstatic that you held onto him unles you hear the anouncement that he isn't coming backbone. If it is Roto, depending on roster size, I would offer him to a few team to shore up one position, and trade him. Find out who loves him - and do it through trade offers, not by posting. Posting that "so and so" is available will grasp you stupid offers. Shoot a LITTLE bit dignified and see what happens. Make sure to transport a note to counter-offer along beside your trade offer so you can bring a feel for how the other owners would attraction him. Then you go vertebrae at the ones who make the best offer and get what you can. I would in actuality shoot an offer to every other director and see what happens.
I traded him away contained by the pre-season. When he does come in a pitch he will be flawless, but if its a rotisserie scoring league you are better off next to a full season guy.
Keep him...reason man is at the end of the year he will return with you the numbers. NOW if someone is willing to trade talent to capture him then thats different, but how upset would you be if he go to the Sox or Yankees instead of Houston and has an even better season next last. Trust me plus pitching other comes and goes, and I can promise you by mid season in that will be talent out anyway that no one have.
Put him on the trading block to see if you get any bites. if theres a really angelic offer after take it, other clever, wait until he comes to the yankees.
