I'm sure non of these nation are football analyst. Yup, he was a draft bust. One who never lived up to his potential, but that be evident 3 years ago. He's rubbish, not even in the top 1/2 of starting TEs contained by the league.
cuz he was pretty flawless at one point. and cuz there are profusely of people that are packers fan out there giving in that opinions on this. Just similar to favre i think that he is aged and his skills are deteriorating.

Question:Now that the Raiders drafted Russ..what do you think their diary will be?...Let me state a few facts first...The Raiders had the 3rd best defense within the league last year,despite have a horrific offense that turned the ball over every down...they be on the field 70% of the hobby...the raiders enjoy studs at WR...Curry,Porter and even Moss..we just signed Justin Griffith who is a superior FB and will give support to improve our Running team game as will a few of the OL players we signed...we have an entire up to date,young coaching staff and an excited team overall..we hit the bottom closing year..we can only be in motion up...it CANNOT get any worse...so beside that in mind..[a top defense,talent at WR,depth at RB,brand new innovative coaching staff and Russ under center] how will they do?
I expect they'll win 7 games and will be in playoff contention surrounded by 2-3 years.

i like the style u think man. We enjoy a whole tentative offensive organism with Greg Knapp and Lane Kiffin in a minute callin the shots AND we NOW have a unknown QB in JaMarcus Russell, who owns the most powerfull arm surrounded by the NFL. Theres no doubt surrounded by my mind were headin surrounded by the right direction, i see the Raiders winnin at least 5 games subsequent year and improving year after year and contained by three years or so once JaMarcus has matured at the QB spot look for the Raiders to be a respectable playoff contender!!
p.s. i hope Moss change his ways, hopefuly once moss see's how powerful Russell's arm REALLY is in personality, maybe he ll actualy straightn up and play football again!

I am a Raider's fan but they could've signed at lowest some good O-line and possibly draft one, but you're right the Raiders will win games contained by their division and win at least 5+ games(most rookies can win, close to Vince Young, but you can't rely on them at least until a year) and finally enjoy "Commitment to Excellence"
I think they'll catch an 8-8 record.

No, as a Clevelander that watch him first hand and a UK alumni I am disappointed next to my own answer but he got within to the wrong offensive system, wasn't utilized for his talent and got physically thump up by the opposing team so he is done.
the qb talent that is coming within is excellent, and all the other team have qbs. within 2 or 3 years, almost everyteam will b solid at the qb posistion and couch will b a nice bakup like he waz surrounded by greenbay
