TRUE OR specious: U don't grow much if u move up weights at an rash age?
Question:i'm 15(turning 16 in 2 months), and i've be lifting weights for about a year and a partly. and ive felt that i haven't be growing in a year(i'm still 5' 10" and want to be at most minuscule 6')
so is the myth true that u don't grow if u lift weigths at a babyish age? or i'm i jus waiting for another growth spurt
And i know i'm not going heavy on lifting. i other go for 8-15 reps on exercises
Answers:
Absolute myth.
In certainty you may trigger a greater bone density based on the increase contained by Calcium requirements.
15 is a fine time to start pushing heavier weights for fewer reps.
Your muscles still require a 48 hour break and you still requirement to do cardio work. But have no terror, weight lifting is not going to stunt your growth.
You own another "growth spurt" coming soon (between now and 17) and you may find that you plateau within your cycle of training. Like hitting a wall where you lately can't seem to do more...
Don't frenzy, keep the workout going and preserve demanding more from your muscles. Your body is adapting to the growth constraint AND the stress of weight training and it will change just fine minus hindering your heighth.
Remember to devour well (that doesn't imply over eat). It means it the foods that your body requires for it's own robustness. Vegetables, fruit, protein...you know the deal. And drink lots of marine.
best of success - Train To Win.
your plane is mainly set within your genetics. However unstable things such as nutrition and hormone drugs can effect your growth. Lifting during this period should not hold much effect, it has much to do beside nutrition and the duration of your training. If gymnast train their whole lives they are usually more petite in actual fact.
Are you smoking/Drinking
Just Kidding
wait for a time while longer before declare you have stopped growing as it might be for a time growth drought as such
i think its true
okay its technically true if you overwork and stress your body than it will stunt your growth.
Its a myth.
I THINK IT IS TRUE GOD JAMMA!!!!
It's true, but 15 is old satisfactory. Everyone I know who started lifting before they be about 13 is still almost 5'8" or less, remember 5'8" is the tallest.
I'm turning 17 surrounded by 3 days, I've been lifting weights since i be 12, I'm 6 foot 2 inches tall, 215 lbs, and bench over 300.
So, the answer to your examine is, FALSE! Coffee doesn't stunt your growth any, my cousins been drinkin it since she be 2 and she's 5'10, her sisters started at the same age and she's 5'7 and still growing, my friends enjoy been and they capacity from 5'9 to 6'5.
Not to mention all my teammates own lifted weights for years and there's not a player beneath 5'8..
Should the Texans enjoy drafted Vince Young?
Answers:
I agree with at lowest one person on here that the Texans should own traded down to take Vince Young. However past the draft I didn't think he would transition to the NFL team game. But the more I looked into Vince and how he played his final year of NCAA ball, and how he CARRIED himself: as a determined innovator and winner beside humility I saw that he MIGHT have be good within the NFL. He delivered beside flying colors! Hindsight IS 20/20 and the Texans would have made a great PR move, and great move for their company. Vince Young is a playmaker-like Michael Vick only bigger, and more talented(he pass the ball well) so to answer your cross-examine: YES the Texans should have taken Vince Young.
Doesn't situation. Peyton Manning couldn't make that troop better.
They should have traded down to receive Young. Mario Williams?
I'm still shaking my head over that.
no. reggie bush!
vince young-looking would have be good too though :D
No doubt. Mario Williams may be a solid supporter but their only Offensive playmaker is Andre Johnson. I would hold gone with Reggie Bush instead though.
yes, but Mario Williams will seize better and be more talented than even Dwight Freeny. but it doesnt really give a hand that horrible offence
What are you discussion about? Mario William is tear it up..
Yep, and dumped Carr the first season.
Yes they should have....shoulda coulda woulda....Vince is from the Houston nouns and wanted to play for the Texans.....too fruitless they weren't smart enough to run him or Reggie Bush.....that draft pick will haunt them
Sir, yes sir!
Ideally they should own traded David Carr for additional picks next drafted Vince Young. I think David Carr is an NFL quarterback, lately not a starter. He doens't have a big heading running back and even if they drafted Reggie Bush, I don't judge that would have changed things.
No! Reggie Bush is and be better than both Young, and Williams put together, and know the Texans will pay for it. Reggie, the simply one that really helped its squad get to the playoffs later year, Championship Game to be exact, was everybodys elses #1 Pick, except for those dumb Texans. Ha.
They necessitate help on the O Line. I don't pass a damn who's under center, the QB will other be under pressure and not get something done to his full potential with that sorryass Offensive Line.
no. Reggie Bush. Why did you be in motion pro! Why!
No ... instead of keeping the #1 pick, they should have traded it away for a slightly lower pick and later worked on improving that horrific element that is supposedly call an offensive stripe.
David Carr appears to have the products. However, without any protection, not even Peyton Manning would be where on earth he is today. The Texans should have made a operation to work the free agency market and pick up a solid guard and/or clothed defensive player as resourcefully as swap spots. The Texans then could hold drafted Nick Mangold as their new center and turn this squad around. If you see what Mangold has done for the Jets' O-Line, afterwards you would agree with me on that point.
The Texans unearth a gem near DeMeco Ryans, but they need to take home a big splash in this year's draft. With the #8 pick, they should pick up Levi Brown (OT) to start revamping their beleaguered front line.
All I'm saw is that they past on 2 franchise players who play within extremely important positions
Mario Williams is also a Franchise talent but he plays DE, and that position is not as significant as QB or RB, look at all the DE's contained by this years Draft there are 4 or 5 Studs but if you look at QB and RB nearby are only 2 surrounded by each
So at hand pick last year a short time ago reflects one of the various reasons that the Texans hold been a a doomed to failure franchise
everybody is just waiting for them to turn it around
I'm hoping beside the new GM they don't manufacture the same mistake and surpass on Brady Quinn, and Adrian Peterson
(even though Levi Brown and Joe Thomas would be good picks as well)
it is too impulsive to tell!! You freshly cant label MArio WIlliams a bust after his ROOKIE year!!!!!!!!!!...
No they should've Drafted Reggie Bush, that's be their Plan Stupid.
you know how people variety fun of the trailblazers for passing up jordan for some nobody? I enjoy a feeling next to young and bush that this will be a smaller variation of that
Yes
They look retarded now
This is probably what they be thinking...
Vince Young, Reggie Bush, or Mario Williams
Young is a fairly accurate passer next to a good set of wheel
Bush is quite frankly THE MAN, he returns kick, runs the ball, and can play WR w/ the best of them
Williams is big
We're the Texans, so we'll transport Williams
Why are you asking this question presently. You should be asking if the Texans should draft Brady Quinn?
the texans could've drafted a lot of inhabitants they made some stupid mistakes.
One draft pick does not make a squad. Tell me, who was the #1 draft pick which get the Patriots to all those Super Bowls? Defense win championships. There will not simply be great players in the subsequent draft but there will be some who will rival Bush and Young. The Texans are still a childish franchise. Give them time to build their team. I deem you will be surprised in 2-3 years what they will own. Although Ahman Green is not the answer. What are they thinking?
Yes, but unless the Texans improve that unacceptable line it wil not issue who the quarterback. Young's elusiveness and size would help avoid some sack, but not on every single play.
Yes, anyone but Mario Williams, he is terrible!! Reggie Bush should hold been their choice over him, surrounded by fact, a President Bush should own been the choice above him!! Vince would hold helped, and him scoring that touchdown to tap the Texans in Houston be a clear cut sign.
No, because behind that O-Line his occupation would have be over.
no i do not think he would facilitate the team
Who will win the Heisman subsequent year surrounded by college football?
Answers:
i think it will be Darren McFadden from Arkansas because he is the best running support in the NCAA
Darren McFadden
Darren McFadden- HB Arkansas
everyone should pocket a look back contained by the history books and find a time when the pre season favorite actually won the heisman that year...McFadden is the preseason fav so he stands a apposite chance at riding that surf to the ceremony but someone else will win...
i like JDB from USC, Brohm from LOU, Hart from MI, and as much as i abhor him and TX, McCoy has a shot at making the ceremony but i dont deduce he'll win. dont forget Slaton at WVU...
Charlie Ward: Florida State
Herschel Walker: Georgia
Tommy Osbourne: Nebraska
Heath Shuler: Tennessee
Vinny Testaverde: Miami
Ricky Williams: Texas
Phil Simms: Morehead State Sorry, I couldnt resist that one.
Raymell Rice from Rutgers University. ;)
It will most likely be Darren Mcfadden, but it could also be Ray Rice or Brian Brohm
Darren McFadden.
Who will the Kansas City Chiefs pocket contained by the first round of the NFL Draft?
Answers:
Defensive tackle Justin Harrell from Tennessee make a lot of sense for the Chiefs who obligation help on the protecting line.
For more on the Chiefs including a complete 7 round mock draft, check this site out. http://factipedia.com/sportsblogs/...
I'm not sure, I be born and raised surrounded by K.C. but live in STL immediately and thank goodness we immediately have Dante Hall (love him track too much-like a stalker...lol). But I still love the Chiefs and hope they doo good this year.
The disagreeable lineman they should tab in the second round by moving up is Jason Blaylock who can play both guard and meet. Ted Ginn Jr. is the popular pick here but Atlanta might decide to screw Ginn by placing him beside Vick. Ginn could contribute right away as a return man with Hall in recent times being traded and develope into a addressee. Joe Staley is a definate possibilty here but not with Ginn on the board. Thwy'll probably run some DB help subsequently in Day 1.
Justin Harrell and Joe Staley aren't worth a first round pick. Especially if guys approaching Tedd Ginn, Jr., Robert Meachum or Dwayne Bowe are available. I really think they're hoping for Ginn to drop to #23, that trade with the Rams help that possiblity because he could have gone to them. I would intuitively like to Meacgum surrounded by a Chiefs uniform. The DT and OT positions will have to be solved surrounded by rounds 2-4, you can't draft guys that are that much farther down the draft board when you have any one of those 3 recievers available.
