What scandalous NFL "bust" make you cringe or snigger the most?
Question:How about Sammie Smith. Drafted 1st round, 9th pick by the Dolphins contained by '90 or '91. Had more fumbles than touchdowns. Played 3 seasons. Traded to Denver. Played 3 games. Convicted of drug trafficking within '95. 7 years in prison.
Answers:
Or, how bout the Packers ratification up Barry Sanders to pick Tony Mandarich.
Sorry still ryan leaf
tim couch comes to my mind . kicked a** at kentucky, #1 draft pick contained by 2003? i think, immediately out of football
I still have ulcer from that tony manderich pick
Tim Couch. And since McNabb was the best that come out of it i would include the whole quarterback draft that year. Just a bunch of bums.
self a browns fan i would hold to go near
tim couch
courtney brown
gerrard warren
william green
Andre Johnson or Demetrius Underwood (and no, not the WR Andre Johnson). Both first round picks, neither played a down for the team that drafted them. Both just even appeared in the league. I construe Johnson was worse because Charlie Casselry thought he be good, and he wasn't. He wasn't even crappy. Underwood be good, basically crazy. Of course everyone knew it and Minnesota took him anyways.

Definatley what the browns enjoy passed up like Mcnabb and LT. But Ryan Leaf and Brian Bosworth be total busts.
For total bustability you have to tender the Packers the win on this.Passing up Barry Sanders for a guy that goes down contained by history as the worlds greatest steroid junkie, and most people cant even remember his term.
As a Browns fan, I own to say Tim Couch our #1 draft pick surrounded by 1999. The face of the franchise. He totally sucked. I hope Brady Quinn does not teem that role also.
Akili Smith...1st round 3rd pick...it makes me chuckle..alot
I still say Ryan Leaf and his anger problems.
QB David Klingler of the Bengals. Not solitary was he a horrible player but the Bengals run out Boomer Esiason in the process. Boomer next on had a solid trade with the Jets until that time comming back to Cincy for an extra year. Ryan Leaf a close second. because he did not run out a already established QB on his team, they sucked at that position already.
i achieve a huge laugh out of Ryan Leaf...that guy be just a train wreck spliced next to unintentional comedy....
but as a Lions supporter, Charles Rogers makes me in tears....
Ryan Leaf! Duh. He was so hyped up because he be a junior who led his average Washington State squad to a Rose Bowl win and when he entered the draft, everyone thought "Oh, this guy is gonna be pious." Everyone compared him to Peyton Manning and said Manning didn't amount to anything in college. So everyone thought Leaf should be number one. I chortle every time Manning throws a TD or breaks a record because I know what Ryan Leaf is thinking.
There are apposite choices: Ryan Leaf, Akili Smith, Courtney Brown, Maurice Clarett. But I'll pick Brian Bosworth only because he be hailed as the subsequent Butkus or Nitschke and Bo Jackson turned him into the next Shirley Temple. I can still picture Jackson steamrolling him on that run. Man, what a bust!
Nobody's mentioned my personal favorite--- The Boz. How could a guy beside a mullett like that not trade name it the NFL?
Alright I guess someone did mention him.
Biggest bust: QB - Ryan Leaf (Played horribly and had attitude problems, getting into screaming match with the coaches on the sidelines. Got both the principal coach (Kevin Gilbride ) fired and put the GM (who was previously considered a Hall of Fame caliber GM) (Bobby Beathard) on the hot form. Leaf had poor relationships next to the media and his teammates, whom he tend to blame for his poor play. In one locker room incident during Leaf's rookie year, he was caught on camera screaming at a reporter "Don't **** chat to me all right! Knock it sour!" and had to be physically restrained by teammate Junior Seau. Another on-camera incident involved Leaf confronting a heckling Chargers hanger-on during a practice session. Two coaches had to restrain Leaf and escort him sour the field. His relationship near then-Chargers safety Rodney Harrison be notoriously acrimonious, and Harrison described self a member of the Chargers during Leaf's rookie season as "a nightmare you can't even imagine". Not individual was he a unpromising player, but he actually hurt his teammates, his coaches, and the franchise next to his bad attitude.)
Makes Cringe: WR - Rae Carruth (He orchestrate the execution-style murder of his pregnant girlfriend because she refused to enjoy an abortion. He apparently really wanted that child dead and get his wish. )
Makes guffaw: DL - Keith Mallard (After crashing his car into a hardees, police come to arrest him on DUI charges. But what he said to them makes it the greatest. He resisted arrest and when the police drew near guns, he claimed "My arms are stronger than your guns". )
Im going to tackle the lauph the most factor
Cecil Collins was supposed to be the subsequent big thing coming out of large school. He go to LSU and ended up breaking his leg in that but before he did he did a couple of routine B and E's, resembling going in approaching a cat burglar stuff. So he got the boot from LSU.
Then he tried to resurrect his trade at McNeese St. where yes for some damn apology another routine B and E.
The dude had so much talent that Jimmie Johnson made him the 1st pick surrounded by the 5th round in 1999 for the Dolphins and held it together to rush for close to 500 yards, story made appropriate huh, nope the damn thug broke into a couple of apartments in Miami that December he is doing 15 years surrounded by prison in Florida planned release is 2014.
What a waste.
Ryan Leaf, David Carr, Akili Smith, KiJana Carter, Brian Bosworth. Lol, the Boz!
Ryan Leaf. He make me laugh. I be in motion to West Texas A & M where that loser is employed as the golf coach. I've see him in the upstairs hallway a couple of times and he acts similar to he's too good to speak. He's still stuck up and he still sucks.
Tony Mandarich and Tim Couch come to mind

Barry Sanders
Barry Sanders.

Well Running Back would be Barry Sanders. After all we still cooperate about him as one of the best.
There is one transparent answer being Barry Sanders, but within are more. Chris Spielman was be a great linebacker, Mel Gray was on of the best return men of adjectives time, Herman Moore was one of the best cavernous recievers to ever play, Jerry Ball was a heck of a muzzle tackle, and currently I would say aloud that Roy Williams and Shaun Rodgers are the best players they have.
Vern pretty much hit it on the leader.
Barry Sanders
Billy Sims
Mel Gray
Willie Green 'touchdown machine
Chis Speilman
Lomas Brown
Herman Moore

Question:of me being a qb contained by high academy? i played one year of jv football my 9th grade year and quit due to college problems. now im considering going wager on to play. my 9th grade year i played principally tight end due to my size. but i also played qb on the scout squad also. now im 6'3 and 218 pounds. i be never timed on a 40 , but i am pretty fast and i can throw the bubble well over 50+ yard and im accurate. i still know some of the mechanics of the position also. i guess i would still need some more practice and nouns to have better mechanics , but i would resembling an opinion on my probability of being a starting qb or even basically a back up , cuz its other been a dream of mine.
Answers:
You won't know until you try.
You get the size and if you can throw 50+ yards consistently, you absolutely got the arm. If you really want to, dance for it.
Try it.
The best thing you could do would be to study as much game picture as you possibly can and learn the hobby. Learn different coverages, learn the different defenses you'll see and what you can do to find the weakness and exploit them. Awareness and intelligence at the QB position is much more important than athletism.
Terrible if you don't try.
Your athletic abilties might be devout enough to a QB, but your have quit something as important as academy would concern a coach. I don't care what your physical attributes, your wherewithal to lead others is paramount to the position. You should concentrate on proving your part before worrying almost the physical sid e of your dilemma
