Which NRL troop have impressed you most so far this season and why?

Answers:

The Bunnies and Manly have have very noticeable starts to the season - Souths kept the Cowboys to just 6 points Monday Night - excellent shield.
I am a Roosters supporter however and all we enjoy been moved out with is roast chook this year - anyone want a drumstick?
Manly. I'm a Newcastle supporter and I own to say that Manly are the on form troop in the comp. They are within 1st position and they managed to verbs of wins in need their key players.
Manly hold been splendid but not as much as the storm, and that is short inglis.

i cant wait till those two play respectively other.
MELBOURNE STORM because they are playing like crap and are still kicking butt.
This year the Rabbitohs because they've won 3 out of 5 games so far and they're 6th within the ladder.
Storm... Go Storm.
we enjoy won all our games this year, and we will win adjectives the rest.
Dare u to beat us!!
The Rabbitohs for sure. And Im even a Parra Supporter and I acknowledge it. They have be working very complex and hopefully won't be the laughing stock of the NRL comp.
I'm a Bunnies fan - and they are doing great.

But I enjoy to agree with the crowd...Manly is playing accurate solid footy, and looking dangerous. The question paper will be if Stewart can remain consistent, because when he was ablaze last year - the troop was attacking okay. He went bad the boil in the latter partially of the season and they didn't seem to enjoy the fizz.
i support the dogies but the storm are really looking good and lying on that ihate them.PS.IS THAT CALLED A STORM IN A TEACUP,go the doggies
MELBOURNE storm...their simply soo goood . :)
Parramatta - cos they may have a few losses but they are working easier said than done and it shows on the field
rabbitohs, in attendance kickin butt compared to last year, if they hadn't of lost kidwell i reckon they'd still be ahead, and the storm they juz the best team by far contained by the comp, to many apt players, i think they will win this year.
STORMS
Um manly are playing really economically this season...I'm really impressed.

In rugby league. Is it a try if the arm carrying the orb make contact beside the ground but the bubble doesnt?

Question:so you dive over and only your arm hits the turf is your arm an extension of the bubble or doesthe ball hold to touch the ground ???
Answers:

It would be no try as the ball must touch the ground next to downward pressure.
the ball have to touch the ground with u holding it but that would be foolish
no the ball must touch the ground
Yeah yeah the bubble must touch the ground but you must have your HANDS on the globe when it makes contact beside the ground not just any bit of your body! One Hand or two as long as you got pressure!
Any sector of the ball must touch any part of a set of the tryline to be a try. (Obviously if you scored over the tryline we wouldn't be asking this question). If individual your arm touches the tryline, then the orb is grounded short of the line, and it is a standard brazen out.

Cheers

Bronco
No. The ball have to touch the ground.
In rugby league the ball have to touch the ground to try but if you drop the ball it is a knock on.

Is Victorian football on the decline?

Question:Melbourne, Victoria is the birthplace of Australian Rules Football, but the last 5 years own been unkind to Victoria's team. The past 5 premiers hold all be from outside the state, teams from Melbourne enjoy been playing home games outside the state and will verbs to do so (Roos in Queensland, Doggies surrounded by Canberra, Hawks in Tasmania), there's be talk of team relocating from Victoria, and for the first time in league history, adjectives of the top 4 teams contained by the finals are from outside Victoria, resulting in one and only two finals matches at the M.C.G. Does this dot a fundamental shift in the hobby, or is this merely a trend that will eventually pass?
Answers:

I don't focus it is so much on the decline, but the AFL has truely become the national winter sport. With record crowds across the country and games one filled surrounded by every state, the game is going from strength to strength. The AFL used subsidies and draft advantages to form sure the interstate teams would become stronger, thus increasing their popularity. The Victorian team have suffered a bit as a consequence. However I don't devise it is too terminal, they will get a premiership soon.
Having said that, I do touch that some of the Melbourne teams should move out. I guess 7 from one city is too many. Plus Melbourne, or vic at least possible has the VFA which is still moderately strong. To be honest, Tassie deserves a team, as a true heartland of Aussie Rules (6 of the Hall of Famers are Tasmanians) and the Hawks get hold of a crowd of 30,000 in Lonnie, more than they do within Melbourne. If the doggies moved to Canberra, and maybe the roos go to NT, then we would hold everyone represented.
If I will Eurolotto (living in UK atm) I will payment for the Hawks to relocate. Tassie Seahawks on the way.
PS Come on Swannies! BACK TO BACK!
Who care? It's only a winter sport.
Hey the best team will win mate, you Vic's hold to drop this VFL crap and think AFL, Footy is an Aussie hobby not a Victorian game, since the it became the AFL I didnt here any Vic complaining in the region of South Australian players playing for the Vics such as Nathan Buckley, Steve Kernihan, etc etc . It is an Australian game and unless you want the winter sport to dissapear I suggest you accept it for what it is, The Great Aussie Game!! If it have stayed just the VFL it would be boring very soon. You obviuosly are a Victorian supporter and cant handle losing, I if truth be told hope that the Grand Final one day will be played between The Crows and Port, or the Eagles and the Dockers, wont that be great? I'm sick and tired of you Vics thinking not a soul else can play Footy, when some of your best players and interstaters. I hope it will go further and become bigger, Internationally, the winter sport has strong followings within the UK and Ireland, US and Canada, Papua New Guinea and New Zealand. So forget the Vic crap and follow a real troop, Carn the Crows!!! Cant wait for the final. Crows V Eagles.. What you should be worrying in the region of is learning how to grow grassland? The MCG is meant to be the home of Footy and the ground is crap, every other state have been competent to do it, you guys have have since 1858 and still cant get it right, lol.. Have a apposite day mate.
Having 10 team in one state process there are going to be smaller amount fans going around for respectively team. But I suppose that having the top 4 this year man all non vic wont arise all the time, contained by a few years its possible we will see all vic impressive finals again. The top 4 at the moment have be building for some time, remember its a fair comp beside draft picks, salary panama etc.

And I consider the Lions to be a half vic club, so the vics hold won 1.5 flags in olden times 5 years!
mate if u want to follow some real footy support rugby league. its a toughter winter sport and more exciting that afl. Go the CANBERRA RAIDERS they win win the comp :)
the afl have to stop ALL concessions for the interstate team, and make it an even contest.
Victoria will other be the home of AFL, but it is Australian football, not just Victorian. I consider its fantastic that the top 4 are interstate teams, especially since my top 2 are coming 3rd and 4th. Victorian team have a supremacy in that most of their away games are played at home. Blues vs Bomber, for example, probably a 50/50 crowd, Deamons vs Freo, you'd be lucky to see 10% of the purple army surrounded by the crowd. I think its singular fair that some of the games are played surrounded by places like Canberra (where I live) where on earth there's no team to support. By the style, you are complaining that there's only 2 finals match played at the G, you get the big one EVERY year, reasonable is fair if the semi and peliminary finals aren't adjectives played there.
A trend solitary - and a good trend. Who requirements the same team dominating the game adjectives the time. No need to verbs too much, in the subsequent 5 years you will see Essendon, Carlton and Hawthorn thrashing some of those interstate sides, after the ball will roll full circle and the Interstate sides will obtain strong again.
Just sit back and relish the game.
It will eventually slip away because the AFL needs Victoria. AFL is still developing surrounded by North of Sydney so the concessions these clubs get help. Also, there will be a time when the poorer clubs are forced to relocate ineradicably. When the financially poor Melbourne clubs move, this will leave more room for the wealthier clubs. With 6 or so Victorian clubs remaining, financially they will be capable of compete will the richest western clubs.
The communist draft system ensures that Victorian clubs are proped up by the other states. But they shoot themselves within the foot with the rorting of the fixtures rota (eg. Collingwood & Saints only playing 2 of the top 8 twice, and Adelaide have to play 5 of them twice). This means that a Victorian clubs position on the stepladder is nearly always an over-estimate of its true wherewithal. So they miss out on draft picks they would otherwise have be entitled to. Didims.
First, I think its unsettled that Victoria is "The Home of AFL"... I'm pretty sure the game be being played surrounded by organised leagues within South Australia as early as it be in Victoria...

The solely reason why victorian team are playing home games in other states is because the AFL desires to expand the game to places where on earth people havent hear of real football all the same. This expands the fanbase and so is good for the spectator sport. Bring on the Auckland Hawks, I say.

the form of football team is always rotating, which finances in a couple of years, vic team will dominate again, I guarantee it. But the point is it doesnt matter what state they're from, it how okay they play footy. You gotta admit that West Coast, Sydney and the Crows are great to examine when they're hot.

yes, I am victorian.
