I am shaking my head...I can't believe that you put your given name to that comment.
He is a great forward and undoubtedly one of the first picked for the Blues this year, but there own been better impact players, precautionary players, team players and attacking players than Mason.
If you want name of tough guy ball playing forwards I will throw these up at uninformed...
Wayne Pearce, Craig Young, Ray Price, Bob Lindner, Billy Moore, Steve Walters, Brad Clyde...
At that's just the ultimate 20 years. Mason may be the equal of some of those guys, but when you look at his lack of consistency over the ending 2-3 years, you can't make a correct argument for him.

I'm a Melburnian who know little about rugby league, but aren't Wally Lewis and "Alfie" Langer (and Andrew Johns) supposed to be some of the all-time greats? Especially after their mythological performances in the State of Origin series. Willie Mason have won only one NRL Premiership.

Willie mason is a self-centered pr&*(a). He is no where want the best. Unless you are talking just about the best at playing with his willie.
Willie is accurate dont get me wrong but scrutinize it mate willie is not the best out there...
On any given week nearby are 200 odd stars out within mate if they werent they wouldnt be in the nrl they would still be contained by jersey flegg or the queensland cup...
Willie is on top of his spectator sport now but serious can he see pass and dictate play the means of access a good partially back could?
There is more to the winter sport these days that takling and trade name hit ups, which once again dont get me wrong willie is apt at, but as i pointed out this is the area he is a specialist at.

Essendon are definitely a better troop this season. They can surely make the top 8.

Hi Katie, Yes I did watch it, it be a good spectator sport. I tipped Essendon to win and they started off resembling they were going to thrash Collingwood. But to Collingwood's credit, they be the better team and they deserve to win. Considering they have a lot of 1 pick players out, Collingwood be fantastic.xxx
Yeh, if you not out at the RSL or something you gotta watch it! I'm a saints man myself, so i'm glad collingwood won! lol
