Football Australian Questions and Answers
38m from the post and 20m from touchline how far do you kick?
Answers:
It's difficult to say without the exact width of the field. On average, I believe a ground is about 68m wide, but that can differ from ground to ground by up to 5 metres. As with in goal areas, it can differ within the rule guidelines.
I don't have a calculator on me, but with an average sized ground, and assuming you want to kick it over the black dot and not scrape it through the closest upright, you're looking at about 43 metres.
If try be score 10m to the disappeared of black dot how far spinal column could you place your convertion to construct distance?
Answers:
A good kicker should be capable of kick the conversion if the orb is placed as little as 1 metre from the try-line.
Best shot would probably be 5 metres out, but if you wen 10 metres out, you would be shooting at around 45degrees.
Really, a kicker could take it hindmost to the halfway strip to give themselves a better angle if they could form the distance. For 10m from the centre, I individually would prefer to be back in the region of 20m. Shouldn't ever miss from there.
Do you reflect on that the swans be purely bad winter sport within the GF?
Question:My personal belief is that they were so hyped up they didnt do the swan article. you know, slowing it down, taking their time. It was almost approaching everytime they got the orb they were foccussing so tricky on not letting east coast get it they didnt slow down and control themselves. Any design on barry hall? couldnt even see a goal =|
Answers:
It's authentic hard to slow the tempo when your opponent pressure you so much and were meaner than closing year. Eagles threw so many things at them including the kitchen sink. the smutherd kicked by daniel Chick at the concluding quarter and harrasing the swans ball owner whenever possible is just deeply of pressure to handle!
Also the Eagles played man on man whenever Swans have the ball because the Eagles know (or think) their players are better than whoever they are man up.
(taken from another post i responded to)
Can't blame Barry Hall. he's a legend i make available you that. For much of the match Worsfold put three defender to choke him and his other forward team mate up. And these three defender ain't your average eagles players. they are good ones. (glass, wirrapanda and some other bloke). barry get flustered so he could not kick straight so he decide to tangle near the other eagles players. in the conclude he could not do much except roos could have shifted him to other position so he could be more productive.
During the closing quarter worsfold pushed his good and experience players backbone into the centre partly so there isn't really much the great swans forwards could do except to rob risks by kicking long, high and towards the objective.
This game be won by a team that have the greatest number of stars which is West Coast Eagles but Sydney did really well to skirmish till the end. unless a large amount of luck on their side, they would not have won because of the finishing quarter tactics that worsfold enforced.I bet they know that Eagles are really two man short in the paddock coz their stars Chris Judd (who's going to have shoulder surgery) and Kerr be injured but were on the file playing purely as moral supports to their team mate.
Well done WCE.
I can tell you exactly why the swans be off their activity! my husband put $50 on them to win. Anything he backs is gonna lose. The things sandgropers will do to brand name sure they win a final. I was sorrowful because I am from NSW.
I guess Barry Hall ran out of "puff" after adjectives every game they utter he huffs and puffs!
Have a good one and if I am up printing uni assignments at 1:45am you must be up really really past due!
Looking back on the spectator sport yes they could have be just bad on the day they did play very well to come back they do play in good health against EAST Coast
Big Bad Barry well i am sure he tried but everybody can enjoy a bad morning
i am sure they will be up there again subsequent year for all in that true blue fans
Hey look, they could enjoy had an "stale day" but a team cannot afford to own an "off day" contained by a Grand Final. When will people spring off the friggen Swans bandwagon?!? They are not that great a troop and I am tipping they won't even make the 8 subsequent year.
Meh, I guess they were really jumpy. They made some early critical errors, and allowed the Eagles to rack up a few goals rash on. It's a shame Barry Hall didn't get his hand on the ball as normally as required, as he had a stunner of a activity beforehand, and is always booting goal like batty. Maybe the West Coast defender on Hall be really good...
I feel the Swans really had a appropriate chance. In the second partially, they really shot up and scored some much needed goal. Paul Roos must have given them a showing. Still, it wasn't satisfactory, and I've gotta say it be a very nerve-wracking spectator sport to watch. Needless to voice, when the final siren went, I be gutted.
Oh well, nearby is always subsequent year... Gotta say Ted Richards and Tadhg Kennelly have a stunning game, as did Nick Davis. Too bleak he couldn't save us.
Barry Hall to be sure was.
Will the AFL Western Bulldogs closing stages up beside Jason Akermanis?
Question:He hasn't been traded on the other hand but has already have a run-in with them and have had to appoligise.
Answers:
To be honest i hope that not a soul takes him hes be a complete idiot since the lions dropped him i mean come on, he completely payed out the lions how can anyone income them out after winning 3 premierships and 4 pompous finals with them? He should be ashamed of everything that he have said hes really let me and adjectives his other fans down. It would simply be nice to see no one pick him up for subsequent year, maybe he'll cram to shut his mouth over that time.
Is he that Good??? Quite crushing . shockwave....What does Jason have to read out about that? Last time I saw an Akkerman. She be a formidable, tiny, excellent teacher to me, untill my 17th. I didn't graduate within French. Nederlands , German, Geography, Chemistry, History, and not Hister, valued Michel des Notre Dame, Biology... Administrative Manager I am, but my government, don't obligation my services... I volonteer, "Dat klinkt Vlotter .
We were a moment ago talking something like this at work today....its a tricky one, but I think yeah they will thieve him, he is still a quality player. But I don`t know the Dogs want to stick with a youth policy, what do you have an idea that?
There is a possibility the Lions still won't release him.If he does go,i reason he will go to the Bulldogs and they want someone of his calibre to lead from the midfield
It is adjectives a mystery until the trades are made but I see maybe some red and black contained by his future and they do requirement some experience at the Bombers.
his playing style and attitude would match those of the bull dogs. What bulldogs obligation is a couple of more experience players to lead the method and to stablised the team. the doggos are a suitable team newly not very consistent. If a couple more experience players approaching Aker were playing within their finals against the WCE three weeks ago, they would not have lost by that plentiful points.
I believe the lions want to get rid of him as its senior players and coach don't approaching him. But do Bulldogs have the $$ to remuneration for such a man or has Aker earn enough from his Shick back-up that he could take a settle up cut? What would the bullies trade brisbane for a player of that standard? certainly not their draft picks coz they are so excited on building up their youngens.
i hope so he is a superstar and the Victorian clubs need a few more characteristic players to even thing up next to the refs getting the interstate clubs over the line every year
he have revealed to the press that if traded he will singular go to W.B if he is traded so he is pretty much set to travel there so my vote is that he will dance there but simply time will tell
I thought Essendon be the favorites in the Akermanis trade derby. Of course, living a few thousand miles away form of hurts one's chances of staying resting on AFL gossip :-)
Seriously though, although he's a helluva footy player, is he worth the aggravation? I hope the Doggies stick to the youth movement.
