Football Soccer Questions and Answers

Which be the best FA Cup of adjectives time?

Question:I'm more than a little biased, but I say aloud Brighton & Hove Albion v Man United in 1983 - a great 2-2 clash which we Seagulls should have won at the destruction. The replay was rubbish, unsurprisingly! :-)

Arsenal v Man in 1979 be great too. As was Liverpool v West Ham closing year.

So, which is your fave - and why?
Answers:

Arsenal 3 Man U 2 - 1979. Football is such a passionate hobby and this was full of sentiment. When your team is losing beside so little time left and suddenly embezzle the lead next to the last see of the ball, what a sentiment. There was also some great football played.
West Ham v Liverpool closing year (except the result!)
Ditto to the first answer

I too am a West Ham fan (see my shirt surrounded by my avatar) and last season fa cup was a fantastic winter sport. It had goal galore, so even the neutral must own enjoyed it.

Gutted that we lost but glad to hold got to the final. And adjectives was made apt this weekend just gone when we manage to avoid relegation.
Sunderland v Leeds 1973

Montgomery in aim with those amazing save and Porterfield who won it for the underdogs!

Red Army!
I'm gonna enjoy to go next to the 1994 cup final where Man United trounced Chelsea 4-0. Fingers crossed for a repeat manners this year!

Can you tell which squad I support!?
I was near for the 83 final and got my specs knocked rotten. Last years was a great final, but abundantly of people influence the Matthews Final Blackpool v Bolton. Stan Mortensen hat-trick. S'pect it was formerly your time.
west ham and chelsea
the year when wimbledon beat liverpool! (1988)
The replay between spurs and man.city surrounded by the early eighties the one be ricky villa scored his aim
I'd say the Liverpool.. West Ham final end year. That was amazing especially Gerrard's dream in the second partly extra time.
Palace v Man U 3-3 1990. Wembley was a ocean of red and blue, the atmosphere and the match be electric. Palace were 7 mins from ahead it, but were still proud next to a fantastic 3-3 draw.
The replay was tight, but have it not been for Alan Gunn the adjudicator and Fergie bending the rules by bringing in a loan guardian it could have adjectives been so different. Oh powerfully, the next season Palace finished 3rd contained by the top flight.
Arsenal v Man U. 1979 was the first really fa cup i could remember, and it be a cracker. But the best was Tottenham V Cov City 1987,it have everything plus the best fa cup goal at wembley,Keith Houchen's diving header
Everton v Sheff. Wed. 1966. My beloved blues 2 down near less than partially an hour to go later along came Mick to bring in the "Owls" sick, as a parrot, two goal from Mike Trebilcock and the winner from Derek Temple, probably the best come backbone in an F.A. Cup Final ever.
Last years final be superb and I had two tickets. The 1986 Liverpool Double triumphant Final was almost as thrilling. Rushies double strike, against Everton, to tag on to Craig Johnstone's goal, after Lineker have opened the scoring. The other one that stays within my memory is the 1981 replay, when Spurs beat Man City. Mainly for Ricky Villa's prizewinning goal.
In my natural life time last years final be the best. It was exciting and have goals and an own dream. Gerrard's goal to engineer it a draw was simply superb and next penalties to round it bad.
my favourite is the one where on earth bob di mattio scored contained by the 45th sec,cos we showed everyone what we could do
1987 FA Cup Final - Coventry City (3) v Tottenham Hotspur (2)

Who can forget Keith Houchen's famous diving header to give somebody a lift the match into extra time near the score at 2-2 next Gary Mabbutts knee giving an own dream to Coventry. Gary Mabbutt will always live surrounded by Coventry legend because theres a Cov fanzone staunch to the team name www.gmkonline.co.uk

Cyrill Regis (Twist and Shout!) and Steve Ogrizovic (greatest goalkeeper never to have played for England!) give the day to Coventry. PS John Sillett's fistpunching at the pause was special!

Play Up Sky Blues
My earliest memory of a final be the 1977 Man Utd victory over treble chasing Liverpool. Whilst this be a good team game. Man Utd's late comeback against Arsenal within 1979 was stunning.and a short time ago when they look to have secured extra time Liam Brady conjured up a bit of tread on the wing to set up the amazingly permed Alan Sunderland. I can still remember the reaction of my Man City supporting uncle and grandad as they go mad contained by my parents front room. Only last season final came close, but the inevitability of Liverpool's win and the cynicism of age and parenthood meant that it didn't grain as exciting as Arsenal's proverbial kick contained by the nuts to Man Utd. Be good to see Stoke City surrounded by a final..but there again be nice to see worldwide peace and a cessation of Amazonian deforestation! Up the Potters.
1988 - Wimbledon Vs. Liverpool. Good winter sport, fantastic atmosphere. I was stood at the back the goal at the Wimbledon finishing - surrounded by Scousers. They were brilliant ! Good humoured, even surrounded by defeat ... Possibly the greatest underdog win within FA cup history ?

:-)
For me the best ever FA cup final was within 1988 when the small club Wimbledon beat the mighty Liverpool 1-0 it only just showed that you don't have to be a big club beside a lot of money to be a vanquisher. Long live the small clubs !!!!
Liverpool v west ham 2006 all because of stevie G, what a fantastic overdue goal.
I own seen nearly every final since 1972 and concluding year's was clearly the most exciting. 1979 be a boring final up to the last 20 minutes whereas end year was apposite all the mode through. My vote for the worst would be the 2000 final so boring I can't remember who won, was it Villa or Chelsea?
final years final was by far the best i hold ever seen but 1987 be also a brilliant match where on earth the mighty sky blues claimed there solely FA cup win when they beat a greatly good spurs side
end years liverpool v west-ham. what a game. it have everything for the supporters and the neutrals. Gerrard's last minute aspiration showed his true class.

the reds had it adjectives to do and then proved themselves when it matter just approaching in Istanbul the year earlier. no other British side has get more heart than Liverpool. go on you Mersey reds.
1981 Spurs v. Man City. All that Ardiles and Villa artifice, nail-biting moments...and the replay was even better!
As a Spurs disciple, it has to be the 1981 (2 game) final against Manchester City, near Ricky Villa's solo effort probably the greatest cup final objective ever.
1981 Spurs vs Man City !!
sunderland v leeds united .1973.sunderland won 1-0
1987 - Coventry (3) v Spurs (2) or 1990 - Palace (3) v Man U (3)
Both Games have everything atmosphere, emotion, a sunny Wembley afternoon, oodles of excitement and lads of goals. Those 2 other remind me of how great cup final day used to be as a kid! They don't take home them like the used to!
1976 - Man Utd 0 v Southampton 1 - Bobby Stokes score in the final 10 minutes - god rest his soul.
Only one choice - the "Stanley Matthews Final" in Coronation Year, 1953.

What will annoy me roughly speaking the FA Cup tomorrow?

Question:In the 80`s when I watched the FA Cup the players used to come out of the tunnel.. look around them and voice to themselves "Wow, i`ve made it to Wembley"

Just watch tomorrow.. Rooney, Ferdinand, scholes Drogba etc will probably a moment ago chew, spit on the floor and not even look at the view. They don`t deserve the glory.

Okay...
They don't deserve the glory ..

.. consequently who does ??
You make seriously of assumptions there. How do you possibly know what will turn through their minds or what emotions they will get the impression, especially the English lads that have grown up beside the promise of Wembly. As for deserving, of course they do. 1st and 2nd surrounded by the EPL, final 4 in CL, combat out the FA Cup and Chelsea won the Carling. Who else deserves it more?
ahh, you are getting sentimental... yeah, some of the players do not show the same bewilderment in our day but the superficial reactions betray the excitement they own...

rooney, ronaldo, and some of the united players are patently thrilled by the moment...

Sorry but MU have never been the most distinguished or succesful team surrounded by UK (in terms of the number of trophies). And it will help yourself to a long time for them to overhaul the Mighty Reds.
Proof : it takes MU 30 years to win the second CL and the chink between MU and the Mighty Reds is 3 CL.
i take it you're a 12 year infirm boy who dosnt know a lot nearly football!!
the reason i'm dictum this is about 3 season ago chelsea wouldn't have even be in you top 5 most unloved clubs never mind your 1st place.

Ferguson is given 50 million pounds to splash within the summer who are the players he will buy?

Answers:

three names i'd resembling to see on a united shirt are:

hunterlaar, nani and deco

it will be awesome!
they should win.c.ronaldo. paul scholes. and ryan giggs.dont no if u have flock of them? there expediency is about 2.1 million.im sure man utd will afford that.x
Ferguson will most feasible buy Gareth Bales, Owen Hargreaves, Fernando Torres and Nani from Sporting Lisbon. He also wants to sign Steve Sidwell from Reading FC on a free verbs.
Fergies gonna get Hargreaves from Bayern Munich, Gareth Bale from Southampton and Berbatove from Tottenham

United 4 Life !!!!!!!1
he desires to get ben foster rear legs from watford and play him instead of van der sar, needs a right stern to cover for neville, another quality focus back, a midfielder but not hargreaves (needs someone more creative than carrick) a forward and a not here mid,
Who knows. The squad is aging from Van der Saar to Scholes up front. Lacking depth and quality surrounded by midfield. Then this injury business. Quality subs for every strategic position. The list is unremitting and only Sir Alex really know.
