everything you've said is right. technically the player touching the ball at the refs blow have now made it within play. there are so frequent abused rules this would be another one they need to sort out. it used to enjoy to travel at least one circumference to be surrounded by play.
with an indirect free see it is not enough a moment ago for the ball to be touched.it certainly has to be rolling or moving.so technically the defender would be in breach of the directive if they charged out as soon as the ref blew his whistle.they should wait for the orb to move.
actually, you're right. a flawless defender will rush to the orb as soon as the whistle is blown. indirect free kicks must be played to another player until that time an attempt on goal can be made. but adjectives it takes is a touch by one player and they will be free to drive to hope. so since the player is already standing on the ball(technically the first touch), as soon as the whistle is blown, rush to the ball now. however, the play officially starts simply when the second player has touched the globe. in other words, two players must touch the globe first before you can deal with. so in those cases, its better to rush surrounded by and attempt a block than risking tackling too impulsive.
For an indirect kick, the globe must be set in motion by an attacking player back the defenders are allowed to touch it.
If a second player be to kick the globe from that position, it would be a foul in choose of the defending team as the attacking player is covering the globe.
But if they take too long the ref usually blows his whistle to signal play on/foul orb.

Miguel, any your coach is wrong or you got him wrong. An indirect free see doesn't mean the clash is only starting after two players touching the orb. That would mean if the first one kicked it bringing up the rear or inside the goal the freekick have to be repeated. But it won't. The match is starting freshly after the ball is moving again from the first touch. If it later passes the aspiration line surrounded by which way ever in need some other player touching it, the goalkeeper will restart the match as usual from the 5-metre-zone.
The bubble "moved" - as far as I know - after moving 1 diameter of the ball.
