What's the difference between spandex shorts and "spandex compression shorts?"?
Question:As seen on this website - http://www.americaismakingit.com/spandex... - they have spandex shorts and spandex compression shorts.
I plan on using these shorts for crew (rowing) and related training. So, I'm asing what's the difference between spandex and spandex compression, and which would be best for my sport?
Answers:
Any time you see "Compression" think along the lines of support hose or a girdle. Regular spandex has elastic fibers to give the material stretch. You can have a form fitting garment that does not restrict movement. In a compression garment, there are extra elastic fibers to give a firmer fit. It is to promote good circulation, muscle support, and keep muscles warm to prevent injury. As to which would be best, I suggest talking to your coach or trainer for advice.
I hope this helps.

Drugs within sports?
Question:Why do you think athletes turn to drugs? In sports, we enjoy seen some of the best athletes of our time become star players, and afterwards we turn on the news and find out that this player that we held surrounded by high respect, is abusing/selling drugs. The perfect examples would, contained by my eyes, be Darryl Strawberry, Dwight Gooden, and Lawrence Taylor. What makes an athlete, who have millions of dollars at his disposal, and has the world at his foot, turn to drugs? It has no place contained by our society! Then, you have MLB players who turn to steroids to boost their play. Does anybody out near know about the long-term affects of steroids? It may impart you a good idea now, but one of the focal affects of it is even though you may be able to act "on the field", you really can't perform the channel you want to off of it! The kids are human being sent the wrong message today that if you don't feel resembling working hard contained by sports, you can always clutch some steroids and that can be the substitute for hard work. Am i right?
Answers:
Money and greed my friend.
To the first subdivision of your question I would simply voice that addiction knows no bounds. It does not discrimanate between color, or creed, income or social stature. It can affect anybody any where any time.
As to the second fragment of your question I regard that the steroid issue goes deeper than a moment ago not wanting to work hard. You own athletes that work hard and apply their lives to what they do. They sacrifice everything for the chance to gross it to the top of their sport and to reap all the benifits that run with it. Then they run into like peas in a pod type of person who is doing the exact same things they are plus they own made the decision to bring steroids to be just that little bit better than the guy or gal they are competing against to achive their desire. All of a sudden the athlete that was polite but not great is great and the one that was virtuous and clean is forced to trademark a decision. He have reached his highlight level and will not know how to continue unless he reach for that needle or pill that will seize him there. Also you enjoy the ahtlete that wants to lengeth his carer and fell that the only passageway to do that is by using steroids. Barry Bonds? The simply way you will elemenate steroids or anything elese is to stop the making of it on a global clamber. That will never happen so instead why dosent congress concentrate on running the country and not verbs if baseball players or other athletes are using steroids. Let the sports police themselves. Lets keep educating are children roughly speaking the effects of steroids and illegal drugs in recent times like we enjoy with cigarettes so that eventually the message will catch through. I think the biggest overlooked drug within any argument about steroids, cocaine, pot, or what ever is ALCOHOL. It kill more people respectively year than all the others combined. It cost more contained by the health effort industry than all the others combined. Until the goverment get rid of the Alcohol loby and lets them be held accountabel for their product only like they are doing beside cigarettes and trying to do with guns I really dont want to hear what a small group of athletes are doing. If you ask any athlete who is truly honest near themselves they will tell you alcohol be at the begining of it all.
