Yes, BREC offers adjectives kinds of sporting endeavours. I coached my own 6 year old son end summer in basketball at the YMCA on Old Hammond Highway. Also, there's a huge soccer program for kids at nouns park. Healing Place Church on Highland Road has their own little sports league too. I live in Denham Springs and we hold a huge sports program at our park (PARDS). It all depends on where on earth you live and what would be convenient for you to get to and obviously what type of sport you want the child to play and whether or not it is in season.
By the road, I see kids way at the back already in basketball when I coach my son's team. Some parents are surprised to see other boys do better but never practice or play with them at home. The coach can sure serve but a kid has get to work on their own to get better or be appropriate.
Call your city hall they should be capable of give you any information in connection with local sports programs.

The ugliest squad in any sport have to have be the Celtics of the 80's. Robert Parrish - lurch look alike. McHale - you can still see the scars where on earth they took the Frankenstein bolts out of his neck. Dennis Johnson - a black guy next to freckles, freaky. Bird - well kinda looks resembling big bird from sesame street. Beautiful basketball, ugly, dreadful players.
