not sure at adjectives but my best guess would be the 93-94 season.. only because the knicks and ranger both did so well and the yankees too. at that point i hold no idea give or take a few the islanders, giants, or mets.. or jet but still i would think its the best prospect because the rangers won the cup and the knicks made the finals and the yankees i give attention to won too

Most definitely. I may in actual fact go out on a member and say it may even be bigger consequently the Super Bowl or the World Series. I know people who don't know squat in the region of basketball filling out brackets resembling they're going out of style. The Super Bowl is great but I know a decent amount of nation who aren't crazy about the NFL. And as far as baseball, populace aren't exactly up on the sport since the strikes and steroid drama.
But millions and millions of people take crazy in pageant watching the NCAA tournament.

1992 Regional Finals: Kentucky vs. Duke. Kentucky lost and I cried for at least an hour. But that be the best college basketball game I ever saw.

A more recent example (although technically not a loss BY the squad, but more of a loss for the fans), when Chief Illiniwek performed for the final time at halftime of the Michigan/Illinois basketball game at the extension of last February. It's concrete watching 80+ years of history and tradition come to a screeching halt because of a bunch of loud-mouthed, left-wing liberals who hold nothing better to do beside their time.
Let's just put it this opening...you did not want to be around me after this year's national championship...and I wasn't much better after the Super Bowl! Or the ultimate game of the World Series end year.

when my middle school football squad lost in the playoffss
1987- Eastern Conference Finals Boston beat Detroit after Isaiah Thomas throws the ball contained by bounds and Larry Bird steals it and tosses to Dennis Johnson and he gets a lay up and Game 6 is history and essentially so be the series. Had to kick the cat after that.
To be honest,the merely way I presume that is okay is if you be actually on the squad and gave everything you have .Some people meditate that if they lose after that they are a faliure but that is not true if you give everything you had and the other guy simply half a**ed but won you should be proud you departed everything you had on the pen,court,track anything.But why would you cry for a team on t.v it is purely entertainment.I have be pissed but not crying before.
