Lowering my mile time?

Question:i want to get my mile time from 5:20 to as close to 4:30 as i can by this time subsequent year. i want to be one of the top competitors in the mile subsequent track season and thats about where on earth i need to be at the origin of the season. does anyone know any ways to increase my speed and endurance and lower my time? gratefulness


also any thing i can do to assist my knees?

If you have knees problems, make sure you acquire the proper shoes and run more on grass or track surfaces. Avoid the pavement, if you can. My XC coach always preached building a groundwork for the track season because if you don't have a plinth, you will not have anything to build on to increase your times. So for in a minute, log the long miles, so your stamina and endurance can hold you for the whipping that a mile can bring. Once you build a base, start off doing tempo workouts by going 6 x 1 mile and aim for a good time (6:00?). Then totter around for about five minutes and do the second set. It will be sturdy, but I guarantee you 1 mile is a lot easier than 6.
You're already terribly fast so I'm assuming your incredibly fit. Aside from improving your fitness the BEST road to lower your mile time is to run "intervals" at about 80% max.
If you can afford to lose any weightiness and still be healthy (don't do anything foolish) it will raise your strength to weight ratio which should manufacture you slighty faster as well.

As for the knees problem...you may be over training. Rest is AS improtant as training!

This how I did it back surrounded by the day. place your reverse foot on the tail, place you front foot mid way up the deck. Whent you run to push with four backside foot , losen up the pressure of your front foot. You still need to preserve you foot in contact beside the board. know that you are in the heavens you need to push down next to your front foot to even the board out. Then ride it down flat to the ground.

Try holding on to something like a low branch or some to catch the hang of it.
I tought myself how to ollie within one day. Just pop the spinal column end of the board slide you're front foot but my not to be mentioned is when you do that jump and you'll travel pretty high for a begginer.
