Skateboard Sizing Ques.?

Question:Does any one know how big a skateboard should be for a large build 11 yr. infirm i want him to be able to enjoy it for a while before he grows out of it i thouhg 8.5 would be perfect. please help!
Answers:

Even for a generous build 11yr old and 8.5" is too big. I've be skating for 20years and have found that most kids today skate 7.75". It's a standard size and most of the street pros go near that size. The smallest pro size available is about 7.5" and that, contained by some circles, is considered a "mini" and saved for small children. Large men will favor the 8" - 8.5" boards commonly because of their build, their substantial feet flopping over the rigid widths, or they skate mostly ramps or pools.

I would suggest going next to the standard 7.75". If your 11 year old is already colossal, he'll most likely capture up and adapt to the board's size formerly you know it.
8.5 is way to big for an 11 year ripened. i didnt even know they made them. it really depends how big he is. Normally, the width of a skateboard go by what you are comfortable with, but if you are not sure, I would progress by shoe size. heres my advice: size 6 to 8 5 surrounded by., size 8-10 6.5, size 10-14, 7.0-7.8, size 14-, 8.0-. I am a size nine and i skate anything between 6 and 7 in.
Also, if your going to find it for him for a while, you should get the top standard pro brands. I would recommend: venture or destructo trucks, any wheel, red or rockstar beearings, and an alien workshop deck( they are probably the best quality. Dont return with a crappy board from wallmart because it wont last long. run to a local skate shop or order it online. skateamerica.com or skatewarehouse.com are both correct, reliable websites.

I weigh 185, I bench 225 is this pretty honourable?

Question:im 17
Answers:

depends how tall you are. If you are taller than 5'7 that's a fitting weight. Benching more than your freight is good for anybody. Congrats.
Assuming that u do work out alot, which distinctly you do, then yea thats pretty angelic. My friend weighs a moment or two less than u (he is 16) and can bench going on for 225 and he has be working out for a lil over a year. You're doing pretty good, maintain lifting
Are you referring to maxing out for just one rep or can you do sets of 225. If you can do sets of 225 specifically really good for your age and size. If you max out at 225 thats still suitable, just verbs to work out. Either way, self able to bench 225 when you cargo only 185 is really righteous. Keep it up.
