General Sports Questions and Answers
What is the elgibility laws regarding olympic athletes? Can anyone play for anyone?
Answers:
From the Amatuer Athletic Foundation:
Each sport federation determines age limits and the eligibility of professional athletes. Some sports admit professionals; others do not. For example, professional baseball and basketball players now are allowed to play in the Olympic Games.
From the International Olympic Committee (IOC):
Athletes with dual nationality may compete for the country of their choice. However, if they have already represented one country either at the Games or another major sports event, they may not compete for a different country before three years have elapsed.
Need serve near Cheerleading Tryouts!?
Question:Hi, for the squad im trying out for you need splits right and not here. i almost have my right any tips on how to seize my left and increase my right? also i want to know some tips that i can use to win my toe touch higher. And also we are required to use a cheer or sing that isnt being skilled to us.. any cute cheers or chants. :) thankfulness for all your relief!!
also i would like tips on how to grasp my back walkover. thank you.
Answers:
Ok let's start near the splits-- STRETCH, STRETCH, and STRETCH!! As soon as you get your right you should know how to get your gone, even though everyone has a side that looks better than the other. Just stretch everyday and push yourself to stir a little lower eachday.
Now your toetouch-- again STRETCH, I can't stress it satisfactory! I used to have a really low toe touch until my coach qualified me 2 different techniques that will greatly modernize your jumps. 1. Stand on your side (for instance right side) and lean on a table/counter/chair/dresser. Now place your arm on anything you're leaning on and rotate the leg i.e. opposite from the side you're penchant on (if you're leaning on your right after rotate your left) for 10-20 reps; then switch and do the other leg, if you do this on a daily basis your jumps will greatly remodel 2. sit on the ground in a straddle, place your hand flat on the ground behind you, surrounded by front of you, or one in front and one behind( i customarily have one foot in front and one behind) later you lift one leg and rotate it 10 times, afterwards switch to the other leg and rotate that 10 times, then elevate both legs and rotate both at the same time 10 times (it's rough but it works really well).
Chant: (X = clap)
Let's Go XX
Go Lions Go XXX (repeat 3 times, 4th hit the crowd)
(change to your own school colors and mascot)
Red X X X
Black X X X
White X X X
Red, Black, White Lions! (repeat 3 times, 4th hit the crowd)
Cheer:
(School Name) Let's hear you screech
Big Red, Big Red
(School Name) Let's do it again
Beat Bears, Beat Bears!
Big Red, Beat Bears
Big Red, Beat Bears
Big Red, Beat Bears
Hope that helps!! And pious luck!!
Take dance lesson
Well I am a cheerleader myself almost to tryout for a squad next week. To get hold of your toetouch higheryou just want to practice. If you have a trampoline practice it on that! It really help. Trust me! Also the best way to acquire your split better is to stretch really good and merely go a moment or two farther each sunshine. Here are some cute little cheers: Just add your team mascot into them:
Break 'em down,
Turn 'em around bawl go Bears step! (repeat 3 times)
Hey, Hey, you,
get out of our opening,
because today is the day we will,
put you away, put you away. (repeat 3 times)
and nearby is a bunch more to if you wanna go to mspinnaple.com
they hold a bunch of tryout tips!
For your backwalkover practice on a dining room table chair. Just bend over it, afterwards once you've got the bending support by yourself then basically ask a family partaker to help you flip over and soon you will enjoy a backwalkover! Hope I helped you out!
When you are throwing your toe touch:
Make sure you enjoy a good prep (feet and legs together, bending knees, keeping your backbone straight). Really concentrate on using the muscles in your legs when prepping, after adjectives that is how you return with off the ground surrounded by the first place :).
When you are in your toe touch position (in the air) DON'T accomplish for your legs. Arms should be in a 'T'. Bring your legs to your arms, not arms to your legs!
Keep your legs straight. Bent knees cause a toe touch look sloppy.
POINT YOUR TOES, and when landing, make sure your foot are together... DON'T FORGET TO SMILE!! :)
For the splits
Crouch like a runner contained by starting position: one leg in front bent 90 degree, the other leg in rear legs extended.
Keep your back straight and lower your chest to your front knees. Hold for a slow count of 20.
Sit up and bring your rear knees to the floor. Now straighten your front leg and hold this position for a slow count of 20.
Lower your chest to your front knee and hold.
Sit up and work your front leg closer to the floor while keeping the stern leg on the ground. You may have to try this step heaps times before you gain the required flexibility to do the splits.
Work up to the splits. Practice next to slow, controlled motions.
This is something you cant just force out, it take time, and lots of practice!
as for the back walkover
i cant really sustain you to much on that
all i can read out is do a bridge, and kick over near your stronger leg as hard as you can
hold your elbows locked as your legs go over, similar to your in a handstand
practice both bridges and handstands
it might back

Answers:
No, you are 24 days to matured.
It all depends on what status you are in, if you are within the 10th grade you can play 16 and beneath, if you are in the 11th order you have to play 17 and lower than, but I think the troop could always seize a grade exception.
