What do i hold to do to cheerlead?

Question:OmG i want to go to tryouts for cheerleading im 12 and i cannot do the spilts and i dont know what within the world a hurkie is but i wanna do it. What are some of the requirments for a someone my age signing up for cheerleading
Answers:

Requirements for cheerleading try-ous vary by the troop you are trying out for. A hurkey is a jump where on earth one of your legs is bent back and the other is straight foward while you are within the air. I would utter that since you dont know your splits, go down as far as you can and stay near and practice that for a minute on both legs, then do the following stretches and warm-up moves everyday or at most minuscule every day you enjoy the chance:

Straddle (left, right middle)
Lunges (left and right)
splits
Butterfly
Squats
Wall sits (2 sets of 30 seconds)
&& any other stretches you can believe of.

When tryouts come just be sure to smile and look confident and even though you may not be, try to surface confident too. Also be loud and pay attention to coaches and law lords. If you dont know much about cheerleading consequently research it. If you do all this stuff everyday afterwards I am sure you will do fine. TUmbling classes will also help greatly.

GOOD LUCK!
capably you have already used "OMG" contained by a sentence so thats a step...lol But seriusly take some tumbling classes this summer up to that time tryouts.
watch bring it on or stick it.not tryin 2 be funny or anything but those movies are accurate.
Tumbling Classes. Stretch everyday. Reseach the Hurkie, ToeTouch, Hurdlers.

Good Luck at Tryouts ;)

Do you believe cheerleading is a sport?

Question:Do you think cheerleading is a sport? and why?

i hold been cheerleading for 6 years immediately and still have culture come up to me and say that it is not a sport. We enjoy more muscles that a lot of other athletes. During one tryout i have a new girl come up to me and notify me this is the hardest sport that she has ever done (she have done soccer and softball before).

By the way i imply all star cheerleading, similar to the ones you see on tv.

PLEASE NO UNNEEDED COMMENTS HAVING TO DO WITH CHEERLEADERS!

Competitive cheerleading is a sport, but I don't know about non-competitive.

Muscles does not mingy anything, it's the fact that it take skill, athleticism, endurance, dedication, flexibility, and strength. You hold to be able to cheer, bop, lift, scream, run, and tumble; you have to be an athlete.
Hey,why not!
If curling can be a sport, why can't cheerleading!
have muscles or not has nil to do with something man a sport in my belief. I think sports are competitions, if your cheerleading squad competes i would articulate it can be counted as a sport if not consequently, no all it is is a group of overly enthusiastic spectators.
really. it needs dedication and fortitude. commitment and its true that there is a glamour aspect, but near is also in dance, iceskating, gymnastics ect.
Yeah I guess it is, It's physical and if golf can be deemed a sport why not? It's only like gym near human props instead of aparutus and with cheers, A polite routine can look pretty cool it's Just the attitude that can sometimes go next to cheerleaders that bring it down,
Sorry, but though I can certainly appreciate the athleticism of the cheerleader, both womanly and male, since the majority of time it is not a competition, I do not consider it a sport. Since the team are not constantly competing against others, then it is a demonstration of athletic flair. Does not mean it's a sport.
I guess it really depends on who you are. In my judgment, it really isn't. I see it more as a...I don't want to sound rude, kinda resembling a hobby, but harder. You do burn calories, and you do need a different type of strength for lifting a character, than lifting weights, it really depends on how you look at it. I guess it can be considered a sport, since you HAVE to be in shape surrounded by order to know how to do all those moves and hang on to doing that for hours in a football/basketball activity. Hope that answered your question.
No I really don't have an idea that it is, it's a way for preppy girls to show in that bodies off.

Where can i get paintball tanks refilled in gainesville florida?

Answers:

Look in your phone book for a paintball shop. You can try any sporting goods store and give them a call too. Unfortunately I'm on the far corner of the country from you so I can't give specifics. Though if you have a Dickies down there, I've heard they fill.

Try a couple bridges to warm up, those will net your back my flexible. Then do more bridges and practice picking your departed arm up, then practice picking up your right arm up.
Maybe working on your waist will minister to too. So when you are coming up, your waist will be stronger and hopefully that will help when you bend at your waist, to pick up your hand at the same time. Good luck =)
haha. i wanna grasp mine too. but i cant. im not that flexable. you should sign up for gymnatics. that would help your flexablity.
The most historic aspect of learning this skill is remembering to press your hips forward on the style up. For example, when you do a back bend, you press your hips forward as far as you can. Same item with a front walkover. A nice, big arch will relieve as well. If your bridges are watery, work on them first. Back flexibility will really help.
