If I'm just 19, how long do you give attention to It will steal me to be into "Pro/Collegiate" football shape ?
Question:I'm 19, I have watered down upper body strength, never played football, but I'm very smart contained by it, My lower body is strength is Sub-Par for not being "In shape" or contained by football shape.. I'm just shooting for 23-25 yrs, so I own a couple years, still somewhat of the average age of an Collegiate player that graduates/enters drafts (accept Amobi Okoye lol) anyway yeah, any suggestions, tips, anything would be appreciated..

Hey, I'm 14, i started lifted at age 9, and one article people really extol me for is my upper body strength. I bench 225, Leg press over 700 lbs. I will personally distribute you a few routines to help your upper body if that's what your looking for.
The bench press is a great workout that strengthens adjectives areas of your upper body.. Put on a weight that you can do a set of 10 reps near, but no more than 12. Make sure it is enough weightiness that you can get through 5 sets near.
The next upper body workout i really focus on is dips. A lot of military undeveloped training consist of dips.. Do about 4 to 5 sets of how ever heaps reps you can do, but do not do so many reps to where on earth you can't finish all your sets.
Chin Ups are a great track to build your shoulders, do the same workout as beside the dips.
After chin ups, immediately turn to something i like to phone call Crazy 8's. Take a curl bar and nouns it up with a fully clad amount of weight that individual requires about 80 percent of your maxium strength. This exercise works best beside a partner. ... Start with 8 reps, mitt the curl bar over to your parter, and he'll do 8 reps.. and so on untill you make 1 rep. So all contained by all your doing 36 reps.
There are tons more great upper body workouts, but these are great core workouts for football.
I've played football for about 8 years presently. I'm a punishing running back, the singular back that you will find who will run TOWARDS the saftey contained by open corral... So i know where your coming from...
On the weekends when i do my own personal training, Plyometric training is a great bearing to build natural strength.
Doing things similar to running in the sand on the shore for a great distance, lots and lots of pushups. I try to do them in sets. 200 a dark. Calf Raises, squats with freshly your body weight.
Medicine Ball workouts are really influential also. An important sector of "football shape" is training with no apprehension, therefore on the corral, you will play with no unease... When you train, you should train to your full potential and always push above your precincts, better yet, agree to there be no ceiling. The medicine orb is a great way to workout. With a partner, shove the bubble back within forth into eachothers gut, keep dutiful posture, don't flinch or step back, keep hold of your feet planted and within a ready position.. Don't confine the ball till after you've consent to it hit your abdomen.
Also.. study.. study study study, keep watch on films, take surrounded by as much advise as you can possibly receive.

It's probably impossible, for 2 reasons:
1. You cannot build the strength and muscle mass contained by that short of time, coupled with the critical reflexes
2. You cannot condition your body to help yourself to the stress of getting hit as violently and as normally, compared to players who have be playing football day within and day out for 20+ years.
There is also the timing aspect. When Peyton Manning commented on his first year within the NFL, he said he was overwhelmed by the speed at which the team game is played.
