Lacrosse goalie?

Question:Okay so i've started girls feild lacrosse. I play on my highschool team. and on monday i'm going to try self the goalie. I've never been goalie up to that time and i don't really know how to do it that well. Anyone enjoy any tips?
Answers:

Hey. I play lacrosse as well. 3rd man and 3rd home. I don't play much goalie, but here's what I know.

You're going to want to stay on your toes. Staying on your toes keep you alert and ready for an oncoming orb.
A good passageway to practice not blinking when the ball is shot at you. Lay on the ground (with your helmet on) and hold one of your teammates or your coach drop balls on any the left or the right side of your frontage mask. Then you enjoy to tell whoever is dropping the bubble what side of your face cloak it hit. Our goalies use this technique and it's helped them out greatly.
Also, when you're shot at, try to block the ball beside your crosse (stick) as opposed to your feet/body. Feet and body are okay to use, but you want to use your crosse more, because you'll be capable of catch the bubble so you can make a clear as challenging kicking the ball put a bet on out of the crease.

Sorry I don't know more. Hope that helped. =]
dont consent to the ball capture by you for one, dont always try to use ur stick, use your body to block it as weel, it works better

Whats the best skateboard brand to find if you are a street skater?

Question:I want a nice skateboard this time, I broke my GIRL board and need a nice one toget.
Answers:

Any brand is fine. What make a board more designed for street is its width. Typically, a street skater's deck will be 7.5"-8.0".
i simply moved to blank decks. boards carry beat up pretty prompt, so i used to just by blank deck at the local skate shop... they were alot cheaper. lately get one next to the dimensions you like, the brand doesnt concern as much as you think.
Zero is really biddable for street.
brand doesn't matter.
it's only the patterns.
i instinctively like factor decks.
but if you travel through them fast, i'd only just stick to plain decks. ccs have some nice ones for $30.
:D
Buy a worship or a baker or another girl or an almost
I am also more of a street skater.

And so far, out of all the boards ive ever used, i a short time ago cant stop telling relations to get plan B's

They enjoy beautiful flip, and incredible pop.

I have used them twice and i would bring them more often if i could afford them

Right immediately im using a blank minilogo deck and that works pretty well for street too.

Good luck and bright and breezy skateboarding!

Running Up Stairs Fast...?

Question:Might seem like a weird question, but I just bet a friend that I could beat him in a race up a set of stairs. Anybody have any tips on how to beat him?
I'll try to create an image of the environment: 11 steps, then a 180 degree turn, then another 11 steps (all going up).

I need help with everything: what shoes to wear (on a tile floor), how many stairs to go up (I'm about 5'11" and weigh around 140 lbs), breathing techniques even, etc.

Thanks for any help in advance lol.
Answers:

Holy cow this sounds like a flashback to lacrosse team punishment hahahahaa... Here's what I learned from running up and down three-floors worth of stairs, same set-up:

- practice high-knee running and high knee running-in-place.
- using the ladde ron the ground is a great strategy, especially if you have the kind with strings or boxes that make you get your knees higher and feet higher off the ground
- quick arms! Use your arms to propel yourself and keep them quick and tight, avoid long arm sweeps you ould use for running on the ground, they are useless and can disrupt your balance and cadance
- use your hips. siwm hte legs up and out and use your butt/hips to maintan the rhythm you need to keep going
- quick turns. take the inside of the turn and don't lose momentum or rhythm. practice just going up the top 2 steps, turning on the landing and continuing up. it's a pain but it helps.
- use every step. if you use 2 or more steps at a time you will slow yourself down. You must move the same amount of mass over a greater distance using the same power in order ot go multiple steps and it is quicker by the laws of physics to exert less energy to cover the same distance in shorter bursts. Plus your legs will not be as tired halfway through
- wear shoes that fit and you like. Watch your laces because you don't want to trip!
- just breathe as you normally would on a run. Control your breathing and keep it regular so you don't hyperventilate. However, this is not a lot of steps so sprint the race itself and try to make the most out of your lung capacity.
- if you fall, get back up. if you don't get up immediately you will realize how much it hurts to fall on the stairs and you might get trampled if more than one person is running!

Godo luck, I hope this helped!
