Golf Questions and Answers

When I hit my golf ball contained by the summertime using my 9.5 deg. driver, I gain 225 yard distance but surrounded by nose-dive.

Question:or winter season I only gain 165 yard using the same driver. What is wrong beside this? Please help.
Answers:

When the season is colder, the upper air is heavier and a golf ball want fly as far. Also you are probably not as "warm up" in cold weather as you are within summer, therefore your club person in charge speed is slightly slower> Also the ground in summer is usually drier and harder and the bubble rolls farther. In Fall and Winter, the ground is usually wet and softer, thus little roll. Seasonal loss of distance happen to everyone.
The compression of the ball change, and it just doesn't shift as far. Also, you are probably more stiff in the cold, and aren't generate the same club chief speed. The first answer is much more important that the second. Expect to lose at lowest 10 yards for every 5 degree below 70F
WOW...I thought the largest gain in distance for upgrading clubs be 10 to 20 yards. Who make's your driver...I want a couple of them!
It's mundane. In Montana the extremes are a little further apart, but, if you can hold on to it in the fairway, they'll roll for a week!
I would reverberate what was mentioned surrounded by the first couple of answers, but would also add that if you are getting 165 yard of carry within the fall near a 9.5 deg driver you might want to check if that driver suits your swing.
You should demo some higher lofted drivers beside regular shafts to see if results are any better. Have a test run a 12 deg driver to see if you achieve more carry.
Sounds resembling a huge loss of distance. The other answers are right. You lose distance in the stumble and spring because the air is colder and that`s why heavier. It's also harder to compress the ball. Use a ladies bubble which has lower compression. Also, you return with less role because the ground is wetter and the colder bubble has smaller quantity rebound. Another factor could be spring affect on the newer drivers. Lower temps beside alter the physical properties of the metal. Try warming your driver frontage with a mitt warmer. You can also microwave the globe for about 1 minute. Both will assist but only until they cool hindmost down.
The golf ball does not progress as fair contained by the colder air, plus is in that may be more moister in the heavens

Does anyone know for sure the answer to this examine.Tiger woods tied for 3rd Sunday surrounded by the Master?

Question:Why was his signature on the TV score board not the evaluation board on the course, first at the end of the tournament he score even and the other 2 guys were -3. for the afternoon In my paper it have the other two guys ahead of tigers name .Was it done for TV or what

Thank You
Answers:

On TV they other seem to move Tiger to the herald of whatever rack up he shares with other players. In the Papers they will register them in alphabetical demand, therefore he would own been down in the daily behind the other two players.

TV requests the ratings so that is why they do that, papers don't own ratings, therefore they detail them correctly. Does that help you?
The leaderboard im looking at immediately says that he tied for 2nd beside Retief Goosen and Rory Sabbatini

1.Zach Johnson +1
2.Tiger Woods +3\
2.Retief Goosen +3
2.Rory Sabbatini +3
5. Jerry Kelly +4
5.Justin Rose +4
7.Padraig Harrington +5
7.Stuart Appleby +5
9.David Toms +6
10.Paul Casey +7
10.Luke Donald +7
10.Vaughn Taylor +7
Tiger Tied for 2nd with Retief Goosen and Rory Sabbitini (who shot an awesome hole surrounded by one on hole 7 of the par 3 Wednesday afternoon that I got to see)

The -3's be their scores for that round (Sundays 18 holes). The process the ranking works, is that the person next to the lowest score for that round is placed difficult on the leaderboard when their total round scores are equal.

If the Round and Total score are both even, they go by alphabetical writ, usually.
ITS BECAUSE EVERY TIME ON TV TIGERS TIED WITH SOMONE HES AHEAD OF THEM BECAUSE HES #1 IN THE WORLD

Can anybody enligten me on the varios lingo within golf? eg. birdie, bogey, eagle, etc etc? lately curious to know..?

Answers:

Birdie- One UNDER par for the hole
Bogey- One OVER par for the hole
Eagle- Two UNDER par for the hole
Hole in one- DUH! :)

Par- The number of shots a low handicapper should nick for a hole or round. The hole par is measured by the number of shots needed to reach the green plus two for the putting. The round par is calculated by accumulation all the hole par's together.

Those are some of the rudiments!
Good luck!

Good Luck!
here are some basics:

Each hole have a given "par", which is the number of strokes you are expected to tke to get the bubble in the hole. The aim in golf is to finish as far below par as possible (meaning you took smaller amount than you should have to hit the holes).

A birdie is one stroke below par, an eagle is two strokes under par, a bogey is one stroke over par, and a double bogey is two strokes over par
