Does anyone own Ping i3 Plus irons?
Question:I'm looking to upgrade my irons (currently using King Cobra Oversized, about 6 years old) and hold found a nice set of Ping i3 PLUS irons. What are your thoughts? Are they a good set of irons? To agree to you know my skill level, I try to carry out once or twice a month. I shoot in the mid 80s to low 90s on average. Would this be a appropriate fit for me?

These iron come in two different models. I will assume you are not conversation about the blades as that would not be a pious fit for an average player.
Otherwise Ping make great irons that proposition forgiveness and performance as correct as any. If you are talking nearly new irons and depending on the price, this would be a obedient fit. Callaway X12's through X18's would be a good set to compare against.

i3 plus are great style irons, but being a bogey golfer resembling yourself, n if your looking to improve your activity, you may want to look into forged cavity back irons. they're softer metal so you'll lose a few yard, but there is such a difference surrounded by feel and orb spin between forged and cast irons. if you really need to receive ping irons, go assessment the g2 irons, which are the next model irons after i3 plus... im a low 80's player and i played ping i3 blades for a couple of years frequent yrs back. i tried the g2's a couple of yrs ago n i feel a significant difference esp the yards you win from the mis hits. i ended up buying the 3 wood which is prolly the best wood bad the deck i've ever hit. u'll like how the 3, 4 irons own a thick sole to capture the ball up on ur mis hits. hope this help

Ping made devout golf equipments, among the best. I have the I3 and I love it. Are you getting a customize set? Club close to that are more effective if customize for your rise, grips, swing, and speed. Pay attention to those color dots. It actually tight-fisted something. Make sure that the set that you are getting actually meeting you, otherwise it's a waste of money. Go to your proshop. Most places can monitor your swing and explain to you what is best for your game. Don't a moment ago buy a set because it looks nice or because you think you're getting upright deal from your buddy. Buy something that really fit your activity. Try as many clubs as possible.
If you really close to Ping I urge that you look into their G series. My I3 was around $900 so I'm guessing a customize set of G is around indistinguishable price.

Nice set. Where are you getting it from? I don't think you can seize any new set anymore since it come out couple of years ago. As the person above already stated, you're better rotten getting a customize Ping set. That if you're willing to take-home pay the price.
