I use std size grips. When I grip down on my wedge, I have a feeling that I enjoy smaller quantity control. Will midsize grips oblige

Answers:

When you grip down on the club it is smaller. The smaller the grip diameter, more wrist action is invoked. A player thet is a "consistency player" will more likely benefit from this setup. Although a palyer that have a "repeatable golf swing" would more likely benefit from a midsize grip, which evokes smaller amount wrist action. It really lately depends on your golf swing,style,skill-level, and what works best for you.
Its hard to enunciate really. If you have std. size grips on the rest of your irons its atypical you dont hit the wedges basically as well. I would recommend re-gripping one of you wedge and seeing what happens. They are cheap to replace and if one works, the rest will too. Good luck.

I realize you are asking about places contained by Austin but you simply cannot beat Ebay for golf club prices. That would be my first choice. If you are a beginnner golfer, used clubs are probably your best bet. Dont gamble away you money going to a pro shop and having the golf pro set you up next to 1000.00 set of clubs.

Check out Golfsmith on I-35. They hold a good test and a knowledgeable staff. Also Academy have a nice selection of clothed clubs at reasonable prices. Compare prices on any E-Bay or Craigslist before buying.
