the rationale why there are a few is because of the shaft angles. nearby are probably a few different shaft angles available (the most common is of late a straight angle). shaft angle meaning how the shaft hits the putter's chief, if u want it straight on, or bent, or whatever. here also are probably a few offshoots of it, beside "new technology" or doesn`t matter what. As long as you aren't getting the jipped version, i would speak that they are all fine.
If he desires a certain brand of putter, he probably have an idea of what style he wishes. If you are gonna get him one, why not tolerate him pick it out. Then both of you will be happy, he get what he wants and you endow with him what he wants.
Be and yak to him about his ending round. Get him to inform you on the types of clubs and find out his preferences. Make sure to remember them, and go to a Golfsmith or equvalent store and have a word with a expert roughly speaking what he needs. It will also sustain deepen your understanding of him drawing you two closer surrounded by the process. Offer to drive the golfcart for him one Saturday!
with this endowment a 'surprise' will not work...take a trip down to your local golf just retailer, golf mart, roger dunns, vans, or whatever you own there, kind sure they have a flawless selection or can writ there...attain a gift card for 200 dollars...later put it in an envelope beside a card saying , 'here is your choice of Scotty Cameron putters' it might cost 39 to 100 more but you can craft up that difference when you go beside him to shop THE ONE HE WANTS...that way you 'got him the putter' and he get the putter hes had his eyes on...

Try research a rotary swing; it’s easier to learn than a traditional golf swing. No timing needed contained by transition coz ur always within plane; not a lot of bulk shift. Just look at Tiger's new swing, looks awesome. That's the difference between great golfers and ok golfers, the transition of putting the club put a bet on on plane on the downswing. But if ur already on plane, all u gotta do is swing as strong as you can and crush it.. J
golf is game that requirements practice, obviously you are practicing, i would monitor the golf channel. if u don't enjoy it ... get it. I'm 3 hdcp and I've gone thru spells approaching the one ur in. a moment ago stay with it, try the 3 wood , shorten ur swing somewhat , make a conversion somewhere.

I'm always tinkering next to my swing all the time, and so does every dutiful golfer. good luck

When it comes to irons steel shafts are best for more people or at tiniest not worth the extra money. When they first came out they where on earth more flexable and helped elder golfer or weaker golfers get more distance. Now lately lighter because they can make stiff in a minute. The can also control the kick point of a shaft to assistance hit the ball greater or longer. I suggest going to a demo day and finding out what works best near your swing.
from what I have be told graphite shafts allow you to hit the ball farther but steel are more accurate

the word golf is first mentioned in writing within 1457 on a scottish statue on forbidded games as gouf, derived from the Scottish word goulfj(meaning to strike or cuff), which in turn may be related to the Dutch occupancy kolf (meaning bat or club)...and yes that old 'gentlemen lone ladies forbidden' thing is urban rumor, especially since acronyms are more just this minute recognized it is referred to as a backronym...
It be given the name 'Golf' because adjectives the other four letter words be taken...
I heard it be from Gentlemen Only Ladies Forbidden, not sure if I believe it though.
No, "golf" is not an acronym for "gentlemen only, ladies forbidden." If you've ever hear that, forget it immediately. Better even so, find the person who told you and tolerate them know it's not true.

Like most modern words, the word "golf" derives from older language and dialects. In this case, the language in sound out are medieval Dutch and old Scots.

The medieval Dutch word "kolf" or "kolve" intended "club." It is believed that word passed to the Scots, whose old Scots dialect transformed the word into "golve," "gowl" or "gouf."
