Hockey Questions and Answers

Should fighters own a spot contained by the NHL lecture theatre of reputation?

Answers:

The basic answer, completely not! Players make it to the HOF because of their skill, as an NHL player, not a enemy. People mentioned dumb crap like "Well Wayne Gretzky get in fights" duh? you suggest!!? Are you people claiming that Wayne Gretzky is surrounded by the HOF because he dropped the gloves? No, lets disregard the reality he broke more records than any other player contained by the history of the NHL. People mentioned Gordie Howe, but he was also a great hockey player. Has anyone truly answered the question? Referring to a few players who made a positive impact, and dropped the gloves doesnt answer the request for information. My answer: fighting will other be part of the NHL, but it shouldnt be the decide factor in getting voted surrounded by. George Laraque and Donald Brashear dont belong in the HOF purely because they are fighters.
Even Gretzky got into a encounter or two.
"I went to a fray, and a hockey game broke out"

Does this answer your interrogate?

It has be, is, and likely will other be part of the team game.

OF COURSE!
Definately, its part of the team game
It would be interesting, but no cause later the game would bemore focused on aggression. It'll take away from the team game.
I played in the minors for 3 years and after that time be told to bail out that I wouldn't make it into the NHL The plea. I wasn't agressive enough and pay for in the after that 70's early 80's agressiveness = fight.

In my entire career (Not merely when I was contained by the minors) I was solely in three fight. You can not help a squad win, nor has anyone ever score, from the penalty box.

Fighting have a place in hockey and other will. However let's face it, the solitary reason it does is because it sell admission tickets. Who within thier right mind would go to a hockey winter sport if fighting be not permitted.
Only if their section contained by the HHOF is built to look like a cost box.

While it's a big part of the spectator sport, it never will, nor should it, have a spot within the HOF.
They already do, just roughly everyone in nearby has be in fight, even Gretzky. Many such as Eddie Shore and Gordie Howe were surrounded by SEVERAL fights.

Now if you suggest someone that was PRIMARILY a swordfighter with smaller amount or little Hockey skill, then no. Fighting have had a place within the game and given that team NEEDED a Dave Schultz, Tie Domi, Keith Magnuson, etc., that's fine. But you asked me about the HALL OF FAME here. No One-dimensional player belongs here UNLESS he was so biddable at that one thing nobody could touch him and that brought his troop Stanley Cups. Not the case next to the 3 people I mentioned or other enforcers I could suggest of.
Um Gordie Howe is in the HOF.
The just way a swordfighter could make it to the passageway is if his fighting have such a big impact, and if he haelped the team as resourcefully. Best person to label for a subject like this is Wendel Clark from the leafs. For a devout video of him go on youtube and type self wendel clark all heart.
A pious one...but he had to be a honourable hockey player too. Someone that actually contributed more than merely fists of stone.
yes fights are why the NHL have half the fan it does

the other half of fan are drunkees who also enjoy fight but like going to the games of late to yell at the players and be drunk
Sure, if they are great hockey players. If they are great fighters but freshly average players then no agency.

I'll give you an example... Laraque should not be contained by the Hall of Fame when he retires... He's a good skater and a righteous player. he's a hell of a fighter... but he is not a Hall of Famer. (Replace Tie Domi's first name in at hand for that matter)
yea their what makes the hobby good they deserve a spot surrounded by the hall a moment ago as much as anybody else
As a category? Like Best Fighter of 2007? NO!
of course not! warfare is the worst part of my favorite sport.

when you're playing, and you really love the spectator sport, fighting is a stupid distraction from the existing talent

What curently is the the best "Orginal 6" squad this season.?

Question:I have to voice Toronto but I am biased as a Canadian. :)
Answers:

The original six are Maple Leafs , Blackhawks , Redwings , Rangers , Bruins and Canadians

this season underneath on record , Red Wings are better of the 6 and my favorite Rangers are 2nd.
Detroit

EDIT: to that individual two below me, Ottawa is not an original six troop!
I would say Wings and Rangers...LOL
Ottawa
Red Wings, due to the payoff nouns, so far. But the Rangers are right behind them. At this point of the season, it is whoever make the playoffs and then advance the farthest.
The Rangers...How could you utter Toronto? they arent even in the playoffs! Your ask asked who is the best this season, so why not pick a team that made the playoffs?
sabres are my top squad but the canadian teams r pretty kool the best games are toronto vs sabres
ranger
evened up series against numba one buffalo
here we come!
Detroit. Im hoping the Rangers take the East, but here is no way they are better than the Wings.
Detroit, but the Rangers will step further in the playoffs.
Of the untested 6 it would have to be Detroit.
Close hail as between the Rangers and Wings. Detroit may have have the better regular season record, but Rangers have them beat within the second half of the season and are showing more prowess within the playoffs. Going into this round I thought we may get to see the Rangers and Wings obverse off contained by the Stanley Cup Championship series, but the Wings aren't looking too great against San Jose, so it doesn't look like they'll get hold of that far.

Thus, because of all that, I'd hold to say the best Original Six troop this year is the Rangers.and they're not done yet.
the Rangers definatley are. They enjoy one the last 9 home games. They also can slickly have a 3-1 series front against buffallo. Detroit looks really shaky and hasek sucks right now. Sorry Detroit fan!!

Who is a devotee of the San Jose Sharks?

Answers:

GO SHARKS. Come on Detroit they will be easier to beat because they will be looking long-gone San Jose like Nashville is but its too belatedly for Nashville. Its San Jose time its just that simple. Paully other consequently the 2 easy points why answer
The describe is SHARKS
I AM I AM!!! OOH OOH GO SHARKS!!
Only bottom feeders like a clam or a oyster, or a marine slug!!
RIGHT HERE! WE WILL OWN THOSE PREDATORS ON FRIDAY XD!!
ps Paully S is a humongous fat assshole
definately! cant keep on for the game tomorrow darkness
Absolutely. What's not to like? We hold arguably the best player in the league on our squad and four lines full of guys plus our D, not to mention two goaltenders, who can get the post done. There's no reason contained by the world the Sharks can't win the cup this year. It's going to be sweet watching the Cup parade down Santa Clara Street contained by June. :)
I was nearby last dark. . . . . they can grind any team down to nought. . . . .too many strong lines for anyone to traffic with surrounded by the playoffs! ! !
Best team ever!! I havn't see such a good SJ squad before! Thorton and Marlaue are gonna head em all the course this yr!
i am.
Right here! I just undeniably love them!

They have a solid troop with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players within Marleau and Thornton. Cheech has finally regain his scoring touch and Michalek has be one of the better players in the league this olden month. They have 2 starting goaltenders contained by Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding together experience and leadership beside Craig Rivet. They also added another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to join to their arsenal of attacks! They have pushed Nashville to the brink of clearout with Nabokov playing approaching a man possessed, and they will put it all together and win the Stanley Cup. GO SHARKS!
This song is somewhat dated, I wrote it after game 2 but it describes my mood about the series and my love for the Sharks.

It's not flawless, I get for a moment wildly enthusiastic, screetchy and slightly flat.but hey that's karaoke for you!

GO SHARKS! Beat Nashville!
I own blead Teal ever since my dad took me to my first game contained by the Cow palace! I have followed the sharks ever since next. they played the Quebec Nordiques and won!! one of the 4 or 5 games they won that year lol

Who is the worst player this year contained by the NHL besides samsonov?

Question:I hated Jason Williams when he played for the red wing. I was extremely delighted, needless to voice, when they traded him.
Answers:

In my opinion it is Kovalev. He have the ability to be within the top 10 every year. If I had partially his talent I would play my heart out every game. He looks approaching he just doesn't furnish a *. I hate players that enjoy the talent but are too lazy or indifferent to do any better. Give me a lunch box 4th liner to be precise always contained by fear of man sent down. He may not have the talent but he more than make up for it in heart.
I witnessed a guy close to that 1st hand from my hometown. He be never the best player on the team but he played for my local minor hockey system(Woolwich), local Junior B troop (Sugar Kings), Junior A team (Owen Sound), IHL (Orlando), AHL (Chicago), NHL (Atlanta).
His christen was Dan Snyder and his heading is forever etched on a memorial in the central part of town along with copious other young local society that died before their prime, including my brother.
Todd Berrtuzzi
Wow, what a right question. Its a tough one though, do I run with a crappy goalie or simply someone who plain sucks? I'm gonna go near my gut and say Jose Theadore.
Probably the guy who sits at the wind up of the bench, who nobody knows and now and then gets contained by. I bet every team have one.
i think martin skoula, look for him subsequent year in the ahl
right responses so far, bertuzzi and theodore are excellent choices, but, id hold to say jordan leopold. the avs traded alex tanguay for a guy who put together an injury plagued, 6 assist, broken arm, bruised thigh and anything other ** ailments he could think of, season.
stanislav chistov. hes have a bad carreer

he be drafted 5th overall and hez had similar to 23 goals within his 3 year career. hez have like 3 goal and 78 assists this year. but i love him

but samsonov aint all that desperate. he shouldnt be playing on the fourth line. if he have come bak to Boston hed be on 1st or 2nd line.
Todd Bertuzzi and Jose Theodore prominently.

I also want to throw in Martin Gerber who lost his brief to Ray Emery for the Senators.
Chris Simon

Do I really need to explain why?
Dan Cloutier
It's not bertuzzi, he sucked closing year. THe worst player this year is probably Jonathan Cheechoo. Last year he had 52 goal and 93 points. This year so far he only have 31 goals and a total of 62 points. Thats 31 points smaller quantity and 21 goals smaller quantity then he have the year before. Thats alarming. The worst goalie, on the other hand is conspicuously Robert Esche. Last year he had 22 win and a GAA of 2.97. This year only 5 win and a GAA of 4.32. Terrible, just alarming.
This is a paradoxical question contained by that the worst is surely someone who got call up for one game, played a couple of shifts and later was sent pay for down, we have to assume you be set to players who play on a regular basis.

Replace respectively of Dan Cloutier's starts with Sean Burke and the Kings may massively well be warfare for a playoff spot.
jim dowd
sucks
number 12 for the devils
