I deliberate this years playoffs have be the best in recent years so that should relief huh?

i read some where that the post season ratings be up somewhat this year, i also read that more people contained by Michigan watch hockey than any other state.

Hockey is merely viewed if your in the lead
No idea how the ratings are going, but purely had to give an account you that I agree..Everyone Else S**! GO SABRES!! They looked so awesome in the first length last hours of darkness! Max looked like himself FINALLY!

What do you receive of the Rivet trade?
Question:What do you make of the Rivet trade? Do you regard as the Habs are dumping for the future or do you have a sneaking suspicion that that they are still still in the souk to buy and compete for this cup?
Answers:
I think the Habs made out better on this contract. They obtain a player contained by Gorges that hasn't yet reach his full potential and they get a 1st round pick this summer.
They lose Rivet, but next to a Blue-Line like theirs, they don't own to be too worried. They still have Souray, Markov, Streit, Komisarek, Bouillion, and Niinima. Thats an All-Star protecting cast.
When Carbo. benched him...simply a matter of time previously his exit.
I don't think a business of dumping, just a thing of common sense.
For his years of service, next to the team, it be the organization's
way of handling the situation. As far competing for the cup...
within my view they a short time ago won't be there.
Something I enjoy also heard is that they may be creating remuneration cap room to the tune of 2 million dollars as oopsed to the 420 thousand that gorge gets rewarded. The reason why? so they can own room for a big player that gets deal to them by tuesday.
However you look at it though, getting gorges and first rounder for a guy who make a lot of money and doesnt produce, who will also be a Unrestricted Free Agent at the terminate of this year, is quite a steal on behalf of gainey.
sharks requirement a veteran defensemen with playoff experience because right in a minute we are starting young guys. and while we did lose a 1st round pick it will be subsequently in a delicate draft and we still have another 1st round pick. and gorge wasnt doing too well beside us. so i guess it works out for both clubs.
Sharks were within need of a veteran Dman... patently Gorges has a bright adjectives, right now he is struggling. I be actually expecting Niemenen to be traded mete out he seems to be contained by Ron Wilson's doghouse getting scratched more often than not. With Kyle MacLaren's injury problems, the shortage of experience on D cost us a few games. Rivet may also be there for insurance within case Kyle or Hannan should dance down with an injury.
The thought of Montreal hunting for a cup this shred is a joke they are a below average squad with a pretty pious chance of not even making the second season. The sharks are the ones cup hunting
I'm sorry, rulistening, did you really use the residence 'all-star defensive cast' within reference to Montreal?
You are clearly a personage of faith and loyalty. The Habs be sellers on this one and if they put together the playoffs, they will need no smaller amount than the hand of God to catch them to the 2nd round.
It was a short time ago a matter of time beforehand he left anyway. He perceptibly wasn't happy next to management and admin rather draw from something in return than lose him to UFA on July 1st. In adjectives good move by the Habs adjectives because they land a 1st round pick this year and they've be doing well next to those.
I live in Toronto, and my friend is a hard-core Montreal Canadiens supporter. (which is a tad awkward)
Yesterday when the Canadiens made that deal, he be quoted as saying "Damn, i guess that funds they are sellers".
At first, i felt bleak for him and was within agree-al. But after thinking about it for for a time bit i am not sure that this is the case.
First of adjectives, let me point out that the Habs get a TREMENDOUS deal. Rivet is solid, but Gorges and a first is massive, for a player of his age and skill even and his contract status.
Also, I want to point out that Rivet has only just been within head coach Guy Carbaneu's dog house, and the other sunshine their were rumours that the two get into a relatively bad altercation or at lowest disagreement on a few matters.
With that said, i am starting to muse this deal may own two purposes.
One to clear cap space (but maybe not for next offseason), maybe montreal are buyers afterall and they needed to unload rivet in command to get a soaring priced forward (like a Billy Guerin), and two i just feel this deal might enjoy been too honourable to pass up on.
Both sides win this one. SJ get a veteran Dman and the HAbs get futures and sou`wester room. Me thinks the Habs are looking for some up front scoring assistance and this move should give them the panama room to do that.
My first reaction be, "They gave up a childish player and a first for Rivet???"
Is Craig Rivet really worth a 1st round pick? Is he really worth a 1st round pick and a player. Josh Gorges is probably worth a 2nd or 3rd round pick by himself (probably closer to a 3rd).
If you really look at it, Didn't Atlanta just distribute up something similiar to this to get a extraordinarily good veteran power forward term Tkachuk? Tkachuk only cost a 1st, 2nd and 4th and a veteran minor leaguer.
I guess this is a bad operation for the Sharks. The Canadiens robbed them blind.
Its a great deal for the Canadiens as they get talent and futures. Rivet was a UFA at the terminate of the season - and look what happened to the Canucks after they didnt trade Jovanovski end season. He signed with the Coyotes and they get nothing for him, so lesson scholarly for GMs around the league.
The Sharks shore up their already impressive caring unit, and possibly slow down some of the goals that own been satisfying their net lately.
What is the worst behavior (by fans) you own witnessed at a hockey winter sport?
Question:Any level.
Answers:
Isles fan shouting profanities during the moment of silence for the victims of the shooting at Virginia Tech. I was so dismayed to be a hockey fan that daytime.
The Fans that booed the American Anthem in Montreal...(And i am Canadian)
Just sitting near watching hockey. What sport did they think they be watching tennis?
Any fan underpinning that cheers when an opposing squad member is down on the rime bleeding.....
i saw many but 1 of the worst i saw is a guy standing close to the bench of the visitors and he be arguing with players and after 1 of the players hit him with his stick and the lover hit him back next to his flag!
also i saw fans throwing pennies on the rime, that is so hazardous!!
Probably the Isles fans contained by round 1 of this years playoffs! Oh wait that be the Refs fault!!
In character: throwing beer bottles (plastic, so at least they weren't shattering) at the other team's bench. This be major junior even, no kidding!
On TV: San Jose Sharks fan booing "O Canada."
Leaf fans are proud of driving to Buffalo and cheering on their squad. Fights and beer showers are inevitable from both sides. But, in the subsequent section over, a Sabres enthusiast almost took on a whole row of T.O. fan. He was nearby with his kids and they be very excited and screaming for Buffalo. The TML fan were in actuality telling kids smaller amount than 10 yrs old to sit down and shut the F**K up. They be quickly silenced by the angry mob and moments then an usher came up to excuse them from the spectator sport.
2 problems: #1. It's sad that you can't run kids to a hockey game, but you should know better than to thieve them to Leafs (a) Sabres! #2. How can you look yourself in the mirror after recitation an 8 yr old to F stale?
Not the worst by my favorite was the classic Tie Domi vs. Philly disciple. Another classy effort by Philly adherent and like every other incident, within are other Philly fans trying to maintain it. Pitiful
I would have to say aloud the Islanders fans throwing stuff of the rime this season in round 1 of the playoffs when the Sabres be beating them
If you want to see doomed to failure behavior go to the religion paragraph.
Here take a look

It looked resembling 70% fans quirk 30% Domis fault.
This Incident between the Rangers and Bruins within 1979.

Come to a Leafs game and you'll find everything underneath the sun. People in Toronto are singular thinking about themselves and themselves solely. THE most selfish empire on earth.
