Question:Is hockey also popular and world played like soccer..and why is hockey principally like the 'hated sport' out nearby
Answers:
hockey.. no
Its more popular worldwide though than most "american" sports like football and baseball
with the sole purpose basketball is more popular than hockey worldwide of the american sports.
but hockey is limited to areas next to cold climates(ie. northern US, Canada, parts of Russia, Finland, etc). Soccer can be played anywhere.
Hockey is pretty much only popular within Canada, and in the northern states of the U.S. Otherwise, the rest of the world couldn't contemplation less.
It is not as popular as soccer, i do not know why.
Go ask any Asian personality who has once lived surrounded by Asia, you'll find out

By the method, Soccer is NOT the most popular sports of the world; It is Foot Ball. The two are different from each other. There is a World Cup of Football (recently held).
Foot Ball is the most popular activity probably because it is very cheap and fun to play.
football (soccer) is the #1 sport within the world and Hockey is #2 in the world. Hockey is the best sport contained by the world. all 3 American sports aren't even surrounded by the top 10 in the world so if anybody say anything about American sports individual the best in the world don't apprehend that there sports aren't even played that much around the world. Darts and Bowling are bigger the American football, Basketball and even baseball around the world.
Vigorous>>>> here contained by north America its called soccer because surrounded by the we have American football so that's why the describe was tuning so when most people here right to be heard soccer they mean football not American football.
bon b>>>> you don't really know that much in the region of hockey do you, you should learn more roughly it cause it's HUGE around the world 2nd biggest sport within the world behind football (soccer).
Hockey is starting to be played surrounded by warm climate countries approaching in India, Pakistan, even Egypt it's getting bigger and bigger.
GO HABS GO!!!!1
No it isn't, although if it be a sport where any poor kid could play (like the good looks of soccer), then it would be, as it's a damn fine sport. Too much infrastucture needed, and too much money (hence why Canada owns the sport, next to their most rinks per person ratio)
powerfully since almost half the nhl is european, i'm going to articulate yes its popular worldwide. Its becoming more popular in asian countries as very well.
It's growing in popularity surrounded by places like Germany. Of course, a cold climate help.
I work with a German guy who say that soccer is not as popular in Germany as hockey is within Canada.
It is not as popular as soccer is but hockey is played in Canada, US, and European countries close to Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, and Russia.
They have league in most countries that hold yearly snow. However, hockey is not as popular as soccer and other sports.
Hockey isn't the most detested sport. Where are you getting your info from. It's curling. And yes, hockey is played world wide.
socccer is loved around the world surrounded by especially places where is a great climate to play... How ever hockey is loved contained by the northern parts of the world(Canada, Northern US, Sweden, Czec., etc)... its really all depends if your tlking almost the cold climates vs. milder climates. but hockey and soccer are both widely spread, but i would have to voice soccer is more world wide than soccer.
ive never hear hockey as "the hated sport", but i would thnk thats becuze hockey is a dangous sport, and it take a TON of skill, a lot more skill thn soccer.
No opening. NASCAR is way worse than hockey. Stop complaining.
Any alien penguin trade rumors,,,we are running out of time,,we consent to smolinski slide through our fingers?
Answers:
I heard today that they are discussion to Florida about getting Gary Roberts. Also nearby was a report on Saturday surrounded by a Phoenix paper that the Penguins have a deal for Laraque. I haven't be able to find anything local on that though. They would plainly not trade Staal for a 40 year old, injury prone forward. Even if it is Gary Roberts. The rumor is Noah Welch for Roberts. Laraque, Phoenix requirements a prospect and a 1st rounder for Laraque and a 2nd rounder.
Rumor has it that the Florida Panthers hold agreed to send Gary Roberts to Pittsburgh within return for a young, unnamed player if Roberts will waive his no-trade clause. I hold heard whisper of Jordan Staal going, but you know how trade rumors are.
The Panthers and Pens have a agreement to ship Gary Roberts to Pittsburgh pending Gary waive his no trade clause. He may not agree to...he really wants to progress back to Toronto but who know. There is the Laraque rumor and it seems expected to happen simply because he will come sort of cheap (likely a 3rd or 4th round pick or a midlevel prospect). The interesting one now is next to Jordan Staal going to the Blackhawks for Brent Seabrook, a 1st round pick and another pick or minor leaguer. Crazy as it sounds to ship off such a consummate young forward it really does trade name sense. They need a obedient young defenseman and Seabrook brings both size and an above average coarse game plus the pen have depth at forward so it is a do business that makes upright sense for both sides.
They need a tough guy to protect Sid. I sure hope these rumors in the order of Jordan Staal are not true!
I've heard the Staal rumor but theres no approach it will happen. I deliberate the rumor is one sided also, meaning the Hawks hold said the only course they would give Seabrook up is for a babyish emerging star forward, in this shield being Staal, and the Pens hold said nothing roughly it. In the words of Stan Savarn (of FSN Pittsburgh) "if Ray Shero makes that trade he'd better be on the first Greyhound out of town".
I also don't similar to the Gary Roberts trade that reportedly just relies on him giving the ok. The Pens are not champion the cup this year and giving up youth (I've heard the describe Noah Welch)for a 40 yr old rent-a-player doesn't manufacture much sense to me.
The first guy has two rumors mixed up, they are Seabrook, a prospect, and elevated draft pick for Staal, and Gary Roberts for possibly Noah Welch or another prospect, or a pick.
If they trade Jordan Staal that's the dumbest thing i've hear lately and they better get a St. Louis or a Jordan Blake for Jordan Staal as for their requests they need a rugged hitting defensman
The last I hear if Roberts doesn't want to go to Pittsburgh afterwards the Pens may go after Guerin. Staal is not mortal shopped to get Roberts.
yeahh. resourcefully. we have roberts and laraque right presently...and give them a few more games and i construe pittsburgh will win the cup.
GO PENS!
Who will win the stanley cup?
Answers:
OTTAWA
If Detroit can keep up the Way they are playing within Game 3 so far, The RED Wings Will be your 2007 Stanley Cup Champions.
! GO RED WINGS GO !
the Winnipeg Jets
With the four remaining teams of Ottawa, Buffalo, Detroit, and Anaheim playing out, and we assume next to a 3-0 lead Ottawa will be surrounded by the finals, that leaves Detroit and the Ducks in slightly a series, with Detroit goin to be up 2-1 after tonite (4-0) in the middle thru the second). I still see Anaheim taking it from them and winning surrounded by 7, and since Ottawa will sweep, they will have such a rest and the passageway they play i give it to the Sens, within 7, a hard fought series, but the west is basically a different kind of hockey, a much more initiate game, which is how Buffalo plays and Ottawa is sound against it. Unfortuanately the Canadians taken, it could be a very upset day ihere surrounded by the US, even if only a small amount of us actaully safekeeping.
Chicago Blackhawks or St. Louis Blues someday! You didn't say when. For that business Columbus.
BUFFALO SABRES!
Nah, just kid, I'm backing Detroit. Hasek the Dominator is within full effect. Ducks are done. and if Ottawa was to win, I wouldn't be upset, they batter a 5, 2 and 1 seed to earn it...but I still own my money on Detroit.
The Whalers
Buffalo
Screw that, who is going to win the Americas Cup? Sailing rules!
GO SENS! lol I hope they win the cup =)
With the way Ottawa is playing right in a minute i think Ottawa is going to win it adjectives.
Still have confidence in Buffalo!
